  1. I made the convertible a 49 but did not fill the gas filler door.
  2. I ran in to something similar but I think the seller was only accepting payments with a credit card only from Paypal.
  3. It did have a dump bed on it originally but it did not look right so I put a 5th wheel on it,it was made from junk parts I had.
  4. I started this about 20 years ago and finally got headlights in it today, ordered some more correct rims and tires and getting parts to build a nicer version.
  5. I managed to build a late 70s version of the Revell 57 nomad but broke the body taking it apart to restore a couple months ago,I doubt I will repair it so if anyone needs parts its complete except for the engine.
  6. The interior is done in the 37 but since its starting to get warm out I think I will not get to the models unless I need something to do when it rains,I had a very short build season this year but did get alot done in the garage that I will not have to do when its nice outside and I can play and not have to work..
  7. The 37 will be going togather tomorrow after work and maybe I can finish one before it gets nice outside, install the armrests on the door panels and then on the truck and I will be done .
  8. Seat is done and now to the door panels,it looks like I might be able to finish one model before it gets warm.
  9. Working on the seat, door panels will be last and still trying to find some small armrests to put on them to use to pull the doors shut,I need to get the cushions apart to see if I have enough brown to finish. I thought I got 5 yards and for some reason it went quickly and will not be able to get to the model table until this is done,I am also going through a job change too so I think my model building season was over shortly after it started.
  10. Here is what I done to one,I do have another to build but not going to happen this year.
  11. Got some more done to the 37,I think the models I have started will get done on rainy days during the warm months. After I get the 37 finished I will have to pull the trans in the convertible,I was hoping I could save it but I think it got a little too hot and damaged the third gear clutches.
  12. Here is what I first put in it,I just can not stand that tweed any more and covered almost everything in it. It stained easily and will have a easy to clean vinyl seat.
  13. The parts that got paint, this truck never had a dome light and will try to make one from a 49 fit. It will mostly be dark brown with red accents.
  14. I am now into a complete redo of the interior in my 37 Chevy p/u so I might be done for the season but managed to get one done I started a few years ago,I covered all the metal panels with cloth and now want to paint so they all need to get to bare metal and start over and still having a hard time getting the paint to look right. It will take me longer to get the panels painted then to sew up the seat.
  15. Its nice that I can see out of the rear window now.
  16. I am going to get the material monday to redo the interior in my 37 Chevy p/u so I think my model time this winter will be limited,I have been wanting to get it done for the last 10 years so time to do it while I have the money.
  17. Got the rear window in and turned out good so I hope my major projects are done and I can get back to my model table soon.
  18. Its about done, need to find some missing small parts
  19. 90s Revell/Monogram body with the 70s Monogram model A engine and the speed parts from the Revell 28 p/u kit,I was hoping to use the engine with the 60s stock coupe body to build a original 4 cylinder version but can not find the parts so a hotrod version is in the works.
  20. Who ever designed it did not do a very good job.
  21. I am not too late to get it.
  22. Thanks for the info,I am building it as a salemsans car with the carbed engine, would love to find a six to put in it but I am going to use what I have.
  23. I picked up a open black widow kit that did not have instructions and noticed it has two firewalls and radiator/core supports so anyone know what he differences are.
