  1. Yes that kit is a joke but I am going to see if I can make something out of it.
  2. For one I did not know Revell made one and secondly I got it for free.
  3. The only problem I have with this kit as it does not have a gas tank so the rear does not look right,I can put up with the cheesy chassis but the no gas tank needs to be changed if brought back out.
  4. I got enough parts where I think I can build the pheaton too.
  5. Trying to make a normal 32 2 door sedan from the switchers kit, going to look like a 50s hotrod on the outside but with a later model 302 and AOD for power.
  6. Thinking about selling my collection but I do not have anything close to that.
  7. I think I am going to use parts from a usual AMT 32 when I can find a some junk fenders to cut up,I do have a pair from the early roadster kit with the dual side mounts that I do not like but someone might be able to use them so I will not destroy them.
  8. I am going to build that kind of goofy AMT 32 Ford 2 door sedan kit and want it to look like a 32 in all aspects so it needs a gas tank, what is out there that I can use.
  9. Got this one just for one hub cap,the tail gate and front suspension were broken but put it back togather. I will find a rim to put the spare back on.
  10. I like the first version the best but the second version is way better then the last,to me it just looked horrible.
  11. It was waiting for me when I got home
  12. I have bought some Mint cars for less then I could plastic, one would think that the Mint owned the dies and would have went after them if the company closed.
  13. I have a Danbury Mint 37 GMC p/u on the way,I need to stay off ebay as I have been spending too much money on diecasts lately but can not pass up the deals. This one is like the Merc and not perfect but got it for a good price and even has the box.
  14. I think they lost all the tooling for everything some how.
  15. Never thought I would get one for less then 100 dollars, mint ones with box and paperwork usually go for over 200 but I got this one for 64 dollars.
  16. This was waiting for me when I got home from work,it has a spot light broken off but I do not care since I got it cheap.
  17. I too like the first version better but its great that its back to its former glory.
  18. Its going to be short lived since the leaves are coming down so I will be busy outside for a month.
  19. I was planning on working outside but the wind made it seem so much colder so I put in some time at the model table tonight, first time since early april and it felt good but still some stuff to do before I can spend much more time there.
  20. I would like to see it,living in Dayton I heard about it for years.
  21. This came today.
  22. This arrived in the mail today
  23. That looks like the engine I found.
  24. This is the engine a 34 came with from the factory, the one I found in my parts stash is one like this with finned heads and dual carbs and would like to know what kit it came from as I never built one with the first generation flathead that had speed equipment.
  25. I just looked in my parts bins and found a 32 to 36? flathead with the water pumps on the heads that has finned heads and a 3 carb intake,it looks to be from a AMT kit and who knows what its from but it looks like I have the parts I need and did not know it.
