  1. I made a offer on die cast truck and if I get it I would like to remove the lettering while not damaging the paint,is this possible and if not I will repaint.
  2. I am looking for the two tone green non Crown Vic 2 door hard top..
  3. I have been looking for a damaged 53 Chevy p/u to use for parts, there was one and it got up to close to the 20 dollars I have been getting nice ones for so I passed. I am looking for the 55 Ford 2 door hard top but they go for more then I want to pay.
  4. Lately I have been getting some good deals on Danbury mint vehicles on ebay for around 20 dollars each,I did have to pay 40 for the 41 Chevy convertible that looked to not been out of the box much since it still had all the packing materials and the top was still wrapped up. The 42 Ford p/u is on the way and I can not build plastic for what I am paying for these so I am going to get all I can get if I can stay around the 20 dollar amount.
  5. I wish I would have not seen this,I do have the 64 Dodge chassis with a damaged body and have the 63 around here somewhere.
  6. Looks like I glued items on the cab so I will see if I can repair the damage.
  7. Tried some when it came out in the 70s and I went back to the regular real quick.
  8. I have a AMT 34 Ford p/'u cab soaking and wondering what I was thinking,I originally painted it orange then blue with a yellow top and then brown. I can remember the orange and the brown but not the blue with the yellow top.
  9. I did some digging and found another 34 cab that I should have used for that build, that one was probably a real nice cab and the one I found would have been better to use since it had many layers of paint. I am gathering parts to make a very nice 34 big truck and will have to soak the new find cab many tines to get all the paint off of it.
  10. Could a AMT hood be used to get it where it should be.
  11. Here is one I started on about 20 years ago,I started taking junk truck bodies and trying to make larger trucks out of them. I originally had built a dump bed for it but did not look right and then started to make a tow truck bed but ended up as a road tractor. Finally found head lights for it today and ordered some more correct rims and tires.
  12. I made the convertible a 49 but did not fill the gas filler door.
  13. I ran in to something similar but I think the seller was only accepting payments with a credit card only from Paypal.
  14. It did have a dump bed on it originally but it did not look right so I put a 5th wheel on it,it was made from junk parts I had.
  15. I started this about 20 years ago and finally got headlights in it today, ordered some more correct rims and tires and getting parts to build a nicer version.
  16. I managed to build a late 70s version of the Revell 57 nomad but broke the body taking it apart to restore a couple months ago,I doubt I will repair it so if anyone needs parts its complete except for the engine.
  17. The interior is done in the 37 but since its starting to get warm out I think I will not get to the models unless I need something to do when it rains,I had a very short build season this year but did get alot done in the garage that I will not have to do when its nice outside and I can play and not have to work..
  18. The 37 will be going togather tomorrow after work and maybe I can finish one before it gets nice outside, install the armrests on the door panels and then on the truck and I will be done .
  19. Seat is done and now to the door panels,it looks like I might be able to finish one model before it gets warm.
  20. Working on the seat, door panels will be last and still trying to find some small armrests to put on them to use to pull the doors shut,I need to get the cushions apart to see if I have enough brown to finish. I thought I got 5 yards and for some reason it went quickly and will not be able to get to the model table until this is done,I am also going through a job change too so I think my model building season was over shortly after it started.
  21. Here is what I done to one,I do have another to build but not going to happen this year.
  22. Got some more done to the 37,I think the models I have started will get done on rainy days during the warm months. After I get the 37 finished I will have to pull the trans in the convertible,I was hoping I could save it but I think it got a little too hot and damaged the third gear clutches.
  23. Here is what I first put in it,I just can not stand that tweed any more and covered almost everything in it. It stained easily and will have a easy to clean vinyl seat.
