  1. Looks great and now I know what that sleeper cab I seen in a junkyard is.
  2. Looking good,I built a AMT version back in the early 70s and would like to build another but I would get carried away and put a V8 in it now.
  3. Its in color,I really like that maroon and need to see if there is a blue that matches Washington blue for another projects
  4. Trailer has been primed and painted, when it dries time to sand through the paint.
  5. In primer now and using the motor from the 40 p/u.
  6. I did not want to paint the body but I will have to so the fenders will match, its going to be painted Tamiya TS 11 which should be close with a black interior.
  7. Convertible will be first and then the coupe.
  8. I think the motor came from the AMT kit.
  9. Being from Dayton Ohio I remember that car well.
  10. Its done now but look what I found in my parts stash, the trailer from the convertible kit that will also get weathered.
  11. Picked up this 37 already weathered so I finished it that way, used the Y block from the AMT 57 Ford.
  12. Picked up a partial 60s Monogram 34 Ford and then got the 90s chopped top coupe for the chassis and other parts but since I have two frames going to make the coupe body fenderless after I get the parts to finish the other chassis.
  13. There are a 41 Chevy p/u,37 Ford,56 Ford gasser,70 F100 and 51 Chevy projects being built. I need to have plenty to do while waiting on paint and glue to dry.
  14. Only about a year and a half in the making, paint messed up two times and almost got thrown in the trash and was only soaking for about a year but its done. I used 40 bumpers and the Pontiac motor
  15. The people who can not handle driving in the snow but are out making it worse for everyone else who can.
  16. The regular Y block exhaust manifolds hit the firewall and since no one makes the big truck Y block rams horn manifolds I had to use them from a sbc.
  17. Its starting to look like something now, actually the wheelbase is not too far off and those era of cars seemed to have the rears not centered. added some brush primer where I sanded through to the white.
  18. I will make it work.
  19. I did not do the weathering and hope to be able to match it.
  20. Picked it up already started and only the body was done and will try to do the rest of it the same way but the rest of the parts might be different colors to make it look like a project, going to use the frame from a Revell 40 standard and a Y block
  21. Should have looked it over more closely,it came with bigger rear wheel, opening since its a tubbed version and i was wanting a stock body. Looks like I will have to restore my body and build this one as it was made.
  22. The one I built in 78 is a MPC and the one I am getting might be a slightly newer MPC version,I could not blow up the picture and hope the one I am getting has the stock bucket seats since mine had the race seats and who knows where the stock seats went. I was suprised that I still had the instructions.
  23. Drug out a Mustang II that I built around 78,I must have started tubbing it in the 80s after the pro street craze hit and enlarged the rear wheel openings hoping to get some big slicks to fit. 30 years later I want to build it as a stock Mustang since I picked up a V6 motor and those rear wheel opening are just not right, well I find a unused body and some extra parts on Ebay and including shipping I will have spent almost 30 dollars to get a new body for this model that I doubt I payed 3 dollars for originally but now I might finish the tub job on the one body and build a race car out of it and have one that is close to stock too.
  24. I am still not sure on what bumpers I want to put on it,I would like to put nerf bars on but do not like the ones in the kit and do not like the stock bumpers and 40s are too wide.
  25. I have a extra 5 window top I probably will not use.
