  1. Thanks for the info and off to the hobby shop to see what I can find.
  2. It took me all summer to change a engine in my 66 F100 where years ago I could have done it in a couple weeks so with the all day rain today it was time to work at the table, took on a new restoration project and still need to finish the 68 El Camino I started late last winter. I had been planning on attending a swapmeet today to look for parts I still need but I really did not want to get soaked in that cool rain and it rained too much to go to the junkyard too, fall is coming and I hate to see summer end but will be nice to start building again.
  3. Restoring a Lindberg 64 Dodge 2 door sedan and need to know the engine color for a big block that year.
  4. I would love to have one to build,I do have a 89 I use for a winter beater.
  5. Would like to find the 413 from the 49 merc kit to use if it would fit under the stock hood,I do have the 361? that came with it.
  6. Picked up a built 64 Dodge today and just happened to have everything new but the body and wheels, now I will have to make the decision whether it becomes a grandma car with the slant six of a sleeper with a big block.
  7. I have enough parts to build another sedan but the projects in the garage will be demanding attention until it gets cold and not looking forward to that day but do want to start building again.
  8. The AMT Ford vans had a similar air cleaner
  9. I had some but not sure what kits they came from,I am thinking the mid 70s AMT F350 p/u had them.
  10. I really like it with the six,I used that same slant six and put one in a Little Red Express truck and made it look like abase model truck.
  11. I will try that when I build the Monogram version.
  12. If I can get the parts I will be building a 4 cylinder Monogram version.
  13. Its done enough for me and if I had a way to replate the grille I would have tried to take the V8 emblem off.
  14. Is there a 1/25 64 or 65 GTO kit made, that car had those bucket seats in it.
  15. Yes I would be interested in them.
  16. Thanks and I will get one of those kits, that was a older friends car he had back in the late 60s.
  17. I want to build this car and need to know if there is a kit to get these wheels or are they being made.
  18. The slow pokes in the Monfort lane on the highway irked me today.
  19. Its getting closer, tail lights, bumpers and hubcaps and it will be done. Might paint the top insert and this one was a pain to get the front suspension they way I wanted it.
  20. 40 pickup caps would be interesting.
  21. I am not too impressed with this AMT 34 Ford kit,I do not like how the hood needs to be glued to the grille and the front suspension sat too high when trying to use stock parts so no more of them. I am going to find the needed parts for what I have of the Monogram kit and make a 4 cylinder version from one of them.
  22. The cold has not been letting up so I am still in the basement, the models have some competition since I have built a sewing table so I can do some small auto upholstery work in the basement too.
  23. I have two small hobby shops that I buy paint, glue and other supplies from and a third hobby shop that I can get parts and restoration projects.
  24. That 396 has a 400 trans too.
