  1. That looks like the engine I found.
  2. This is the engine a 34 came with from the factory, the one I found in my parts stash is one like this with finned heads and dual carbs and would like to know what kit it came from as I never built one with the first generation flathead that had speed equipment.
  3. I just looked in my parts bins and found a 32 to 36? flathead with the water pumps on the heads that has finned heads and a 3 carb intake,it looks to be from a AMT kit and who knows what its from but it looks like I have the parts I need and did not know it.
  4. Would like to build my Monogram 34 Ford in a late 40s look so were there any 40 to 48 Fords built in 1/24 that I can grab tires, rims and hubcaps from or anyone making them. I want to keep the wires for a stock build in the future.
  5. I wish this kit would have older speed equipment, the optional parts have a late 50s vibe and I am wanting it to be late 40s.
  6. I might be one of the builders the OP was mentioning,I am not a pro builder but try to build that look decent and do not get into much detail. I like clean and simple builds and my eyes are not like they were when I was a teenager so that it why I do not get into serious details,I build in a basement and over a winter will try to get it a little brighter so maybe I can start getting into those small details again.
  7. I would not pay any more for them since I would never use the decals.
  8. I got a late 60s 32 roadster that has the dual spares in the fenders that I do not like so can I use the fenders from any of the other 32 kits, trying to build a mid to late 40s hotrod with a hopped up 4 banger.
  9. My 34 kit is 1/24 and if my memory is correct the 36 kit has the 38 to 48 style engine with aluminum heads and 3 carbs like the 40 p/u
  10. Just picked up the mid 60s 34 Ford coupe kit and would like to make it a sleeper so I was wondering if there are speed parts that will fit the original flathead in any other kit or will I have to use the engine from the 36 or 40 p/u,not wanting to put a OHV engine in it.
  11. This one is my latest.
  12. The exes son turned it on when he built my computer and no clue on how to turn it off
  13. I got a 40 Ford coupe off ebay a few years ago and a second one came from the same seller a few days later,I did the right thing and contacted the seller and ended up sending some money for it and installed the chassis from the hotrod version on it.
  14. I am going to build without painting the body and now to decide coupe or convertible.
  15. Got me a unbuilt mid 60s Monogram 34 Ford kit off Ebay coming in the mail that I will build but having a hard time deciding if I will paint it since I like the maroon it comes it,this will be my first over 50 year old unbuilt kit I have ever got my hands on. Engine will get painted but that might be all that gets paint as the black the chassis comes is not too bad.
  16. Got another, had to give 45 for this one but think I got it cheap since they usually go for more.
  17. I doubt I will pick up any restoration projects that are missing parts now that they are gone,I was given a 63 Chevy II convertible promo that was missing the hood and steering wheel that they supplied the needed parts so no more.
  18. I was given these models and parts today, did not know AMT made a 4 cylinder 32 Ford roadster and the 4 cylinder parts are going to be used to build a 4 cylinder 5 window coupe. There was a built but apart Stutz bearcat and a still in the trees funny car chassis for a 68 to 70 AMX.
  19. Finally got a 55 Ford 2 door hardtop and tinkering with a 37 Chevy truck that came damaged, making the 37 a flatbed.
  20. Box is apart and looks like I have material for side racks.
  21. After further investigation I think I can use the floor of the box to make a flat bed, will have to put some C channel around the perimeter.
  22. I am going to need a long one for this truck, that box that is on it really makes it heavy and I would like to lighten it up since the suspension got damaged.
  23. I picked up a Danbury mint 37 Chevy 1 1/2 ton beer truck that came in damaged so its coming apart and would like to take the box off and make it a flatbed, what truck kits were made that I can rob the flatbed off of or are there anyone making them.
