  1. I found a unpainted sedan body and hood I would like to save and need a set of black sedan fenders.
  2. It looks like one more 40 build could happen, found this sedan body and need to know what class those numbers are for. I was wanting to build a gasser but have no clue on the numbers.
  3. Paint is drying on the chassis and the fenders are soaking to get the paint off plus I think I might have a partially built hemi so when the paint dries on the chassis I will see if it fits. I know it does not have the usual mounts and if my memory is correct it attaches to the frame in the F100 by the front of the oil pan,I have put about every engine in a 40 except for a early hemi.
  4. I am in the process of building another old AMT 40 coupe and still not decided on a engine,I found out I have a unbuilt hemi from the 53 F100 kit and was wondering if anyone has put one in a 40 without too much cutting.
  5. It's got bumpers and took the chrome pen to a set of stock 40 rims, something to do when I come on to cool down.
  6. When I rebuilt alot of the models from that big parts stash I picked up I ended up on ebay finding better parts but on this one I am not spending a penny and using what I have in stock including paint.
  7. Decided on bumpers so the brackets were taken from a junk Lindbergh chassis.
  8. Just when I thought I used up all usable parts I find more.
  9. I really have others I can build but looking to do a quicky on this one, using the last decent body parts from that parts collection I picked up a couple years ago. Going to build this one as a 40 standard since the only good fenders are from a sedan and not sure of the engine but leaning towards the 390 from the 34 pickup kit which I should have one that is unbuilt. Thinking primered bumper less hotrod
  10. Most likely started in the 60s but never finished and shortened, the original chassis was gone so I shortened one from a 56 F 100 and addeda Lincoln engine from a old AMT T kit along with the suspension from a 68 Camaro kit. The same person started the custom 56.
  11. A blueish color
  12. Due to the heavy flake I presume it was started in the 60s.
  13. Not really wanting to buy another kit to get the parts but might see if I can modify the hood.
  14. Almost there, battery and exhaust.and will be done
  15. My friend gave me another bag full of thrift store models and included were two ,67 Impalas, thinking about building one like my grandfather had which was a regular Impala and not a 427 SS so I am looking for a regular hood and hubcaps to rebuild one like his old car.
  16. It's a restoration and thought it was a promo but was told it's a Craftsman jr.
  17. The engine is the Lincoln from a old AMT T kit with a 4 speed added
  18. I picked it up missing the rest bumper and need to find it.
  19. Getting closer to being done, got the hood open so I can add more detail to the engine now.
  20. Never heard of the Craftsman jr series.
  21. Going to watch this rebuild as I have one that needs a rebuild too,I am thing flathead from the 36 or 40 pickup and the stock rims from the original 40 pickup kit if I can find some.
  22. I picked it up at a model swap meet missing the bumpers which I had,I think it's more like a promo since the hood does not open and the windshield frame is molded to the body.
  23. I wish I knew the history on this but I found out the original builder has passed away.
