Looked at pics on both and can not tell the difference,need to find a grille insert.

The original chassis is long gone,I did find a couple recent Revell 32 frames I can try in my parts stash.

I have a complete body but no chassis and was wondering if anyone has ever put one togather on another chassis,I have heard horror stories about trying to put the chassis that came with it togather.

Never seen that color on the 34 and will have to look for one.

They came molded in colors that really did not need to be painted.

This 60s 57 Ranchero arrived in the mail today,the rear bumper is off but came with it and built with no engine and the hood glued shut and hope I can get it open. I just happen to have two correct engines that I am going to build one out of and hopefully can get it installed.

I am eyeing another partial kit that I can use for parts this time.

The other old Monogram kits I like is the 40 Ford pickup,I want to get all of those stock rims and hubcaps I can get,I wish those parts would have came in the. 70s and newer versions.

There is something about the 34 Ford coupe/convertible kit I can not get enough of,over the years I got one complete unbuilt kit and a bunch of partial built and parts kits and I got another. I have two partial builds going that need parts so I found what looked to be a very incomplete kit on eBay and got it cheap,it arrived yesterday and was surprised that it was only missing a few parts that I might use one that I started for the parts I need for this one. Part of the reason I grab all the opened kits is to get a few sets of those wire wheels which is hard,this kit looks to have all the outers and missing two inners but has all the hubcaps still on the tree.

Anything is better then nothing.

I have a few of those roadsters and might do something with one and did not know the age of them too.

Working on the Monogram late 80s F 250 and it has aftermarket looking wheels but after further investigation they are 5 lugs so I found a set of resin 8 lug rims I forgot about,so does anyone know if anyone makes such a hubcap or was there ever kit made that would have them.

Did not realize its that old.

Looks like another trip to the hobby shop next week.

I have chrome pens but was wondering if paint pens exist,I am working on the Monogram late 80s F 250m and the moldings on the body would be much easier painted with a pen, I was at the hobby shop yesterday and forgot to look.

I reviewed two in that batch of parts I got a couple years ago and this one is incomplete,going to see what I can build with parts I have in stock. Anybody know just what scale these are.

I found a 340 on eBay and it's on the way,I did have a couple big blocks but none were complete and I prefer a small block for this rebuild. I did think about a slant six.

I noticed the under hood panels were not anywhere near correct,not sure if I am going to get carried away and try to make it look correct but it's going to get a 340. I just remembered building a 69 back in the late 70s and all I think it had was a hemi.

The six pack arrived today but will have to look for the rest of the engine,this 67 had a small block Mopar of some kind but have found out it came with a slant six or hemi. Will have to see what the 69 kit had for a engine.

There is no mention of any engine on the box but the box art did have 426 on the car so thanks for the info,it had some kind of small block Mopar in it that after further investigation did not fit too good.

I am restoring one and just got it apart,it looked like it had a 318 in it and had a 340 six pack sent to me and its too large. The engine is molded in red where the rest of the car is in white so it has the wrong engine,what engine came in the original 67 Barracuda kit.

I got this body on eBay for parts on another one I built last year so I went back on eBay to get the needed parts to put it back together,for the engine it has the Dodge hemi from a model A kit but I put a 4 speed behind it.

Looks good.

Let your friends know you build,I have a friend that finds models at thrift stores for me and had gotten me a bunch of 60s and newer built ones,guys in the car club also gave me some too and now models are starting to find me.

I have never built a kit those engines came with,they came with that batch of 60s parts I got a couple years ago.
