I actually have all of those kits. The AMT 25 T stands just aren't quite tall enough for what this needs. I may revisit the Monogram T.

Where do you get them? -
Love that roadster, Ace! I gotta ask, where did you find those headlight stands?

Last I'd heard those inserts were MIA, but it sure would be nice. -
283 killer completed models, all in one place....

Great coverage Tim! Thank you for all you do for the hobby. -
That's a super nice build.

Here's another one I've had for a while. For you guys with Facebook who like this stuff like I do, check out our Scale Survivors group.

I didn't build the ones I posted either. Some I own were built before I was even born. If they are neat builds I preserve them. It's your model - your call.

This one is a survivor I tweaked up just a bit with a new front axle, wheels and induction system. Hey I know it's Sunday, but why wait?

That Valiant pickup is the bomb!

Beautiful build of an under rated kit. What brand is the paint?

How about a salute to build-ups from the golden era? Corduroy upholstery and sewing thread plug wires. Post em if you got em....

I can't see any reason why any of those couldn't (or shouldn't) come back. I want all 4 of them.

Probably just a matter of re-opening the gate. -

AMT '40 Ford Coupe,
Dave Darby replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It's a re-boxed AMT kit. They did a few other Trophy kits as well. I'll try and dig up some pics from my stash. -
Wasn't expecting this one. Just lovely. May have to build one stock myself. Uber nice job there.

Gorgeous!

That's the height of 80s coolness. Shoulda been an SAE feature model.

That is beyond cool. I like it.
