I think those are even more scarce than the Little Deuce. Looks great!

You're not crazy. They did the same thing with the '50' Mercury. -

I dont think the MPC kit is too bad. And the separate running boards are handy for using as a template to trim masking tape to use on the AMT running boards when painting the fenders. -

I've come close to picking up the Lindberg kit, which is a poor clone of the AMT kit. (I believe it was originally tooled by Palmer). The side window shape is crude, the grille is crude. I'd never base a serious build off of one. I've always loved the AMT 40s. The only real issue I have with them is the shape of the tops of the windshields. -
'32 Channeled Nailhead Roadster UPDATED 11/7/18

Just keeps getting better and better. I was going to ask you, have you ever looked at the dropped front axle and brake backing plates in the Monogram 1/24 Deuce roadster? Far and away the most accurate and realistic I've ever seen in scale. -

This is one cool project. Can't wait to see it finished. -

Very nice job on a very under appreciated kit. A little tidbit; The engine in that kit (except for valve covers and incorrect headers) is a note for note crib from the original issue AMT 32 Ford Roadster hemi engine.

I like them all but these two are extra cool!

Those old Revell multi piece body kits sure build up nice, dont they? Looks great. You did a beautiful job. Evidently great minds think alike... I did this one 25 years ago.

The mid 1970s were a huge low point for AMT engineering. Their stuff was pretty crude. Monogram wasn't doing a lot better. Ex:56 and 57 Chevys.

Another meisterwork in progress. Can't wait to see it finished. You going to cast that one Paul?

Besides the box art build, I built this one too. Originally as a commissioned build, it started out stock. Later it was traded to me in exchange for another build. Got bored and gave it a makeover. Besides the issues mentioned previously, I think the roof crown is a little lacking.

Forgot one. I built the cover car for the box art, and the late Charlie Nance did the white gasser version on the side.
