Both look great. I'd had been tempted just build a second one. I agree with the previous statements about this kit. It's one of the best if not the best 32 roadster kits available. Very under rated.
I was talking about the model of Bud's roadster he built in an article on model cars he did in Street Rodder. Pat also built a replica of the Graffiti coupe.
I know you meant vertically. Very nice job on a very worthy subject. I've always loved Bud Bryan's highboy has always been a favorite of mine. Ever see Pat Ganahl's scale rendition from Street Rodder around 73-74 or so?
Mark is correct (as almost always) there was never a custom hood in the AMT 57 Ford kit. There was a custom styling front end extension that created that effect. You may have "worked hard" on your 'review' but if you present incorrect and or untrue information (as you regularly do) you should expect and accept correction gracefully.
Didn't touch the spear. I originally built it almost 30 years ago as a pro street. 10 years ago I swapped out the suspension and engine, cut off the front bumper and made it a gasser. Still with same paint.
All the Villa Riviera parts have always been present (except maybe for the 70s Barris version) since the beginning. The only real alteration was widening the wire wheels.
