  1. Thanks Tom, yeah I spent some time at that work bench too!
  2. Thank you guys!
  3. Thanks Snake, It has done its time in the truck section...thought everything goes here for completed builds for the year (trucks, cars, planes, etc.) am I wrong???
  4. Its been a very slow year at the bench so I only completed this one 64 GMC build. I have a 66 Ford about completed but will save it for next years roster so maybe I will have two at the end of the year! This one started out as the Revell 65 Chevy step side. Thanks for looking. Bill
  5. I have been working on wheels and hubcaps for this kit. I have the wheels to satisfaction but the hubcaps are not cooperating. The lettering is just too small for my equipment. I made some flat and maybe decals will be the answer. Hope to have the wheels on the website within the week along with Dodge stuff and other things. Here is what I have at this point. Tire is just for reference (regular kit tire from the parts box). Bill
  6. I picked up the Coke Polar lights snap kit because the box says its 1/25th scale. I hope it is as I have been looking for one in that scale for a while. I have not measured anything to confirm if it is 1/25 or 1/24 yet. Anyone have both to do a side by side??? Nice kit...especially for a snap!
  7. Thanks Casey for the constructive criticism and your honest opinion. I agree with the molded in headlights and that is why I left the headlight area blank to either place a lens or drill it out (optional for the builder). I agree the MPC grill is very usable and fairly accurate but has its flaws as well. I wanted to open up the grill a little and expose the radiator behind it. It is not perfect by any stretch but after comparing mine with the MPC, and the 1:1 you posted, I find I have quite a few elements that are accurate. My headlight buckets are a little off and think the MPC buckets are better even with the molded in headlight. I guess what I am saying is that they both have merits and flaws and it will come down to builders choice and availability of their choice. I am just happy to offer an option for folks. On the Ford van wheels and hubcaps, a valid point was mentioned in that the hub area would theoretically be covered by said hubcaps, ubut what if the builder chooses to leave one exposed for a worn used look. The link you provided is not clear on what people are requesting specifically. I seem to recall that the old MPC Ford vans (Juke Box etc.) had a set of "steel wheels with hub caps" but again, I am not sure if that is what is being requested. I appreciate the info and I don't want to seem ignorant but I would like some clarification on what is wanted for this. Thanks again! Bill
  8. Hi Jim! I would say pretty good chances. Can you drum up a few pics of what you are referring to exactly so I am clear on what you are requesting?
  9. Thanks guys! I missed out on the Modelhaus opportunity also as I didn't get back into the game until just before they were gone, and can understand grabbing stuff while it is available. I appreciate your business and hope to keep creating pieces for a while. I am somewhat new at making parts, hence the name "Rookie" but have learned a ton of things about the process and hope to expand my projects as my experience grows. I have been 3d printing now for about 6 years and think back to what models I created at that time and am amazed at how primitive they were compared to what I am doing now. I hope to keep improving and turning out quality parts for fellow builders. Thank you again for all of your support!
  10. Thank you guys! I too am a slow builder but always have plans for future builds. I try to finish what I am currently working on before starting another but that is getting harder and harder as my idea motor is in high gear. I appreciate the fact that you consider my parts worthy for your future builds and will keep an eye out for them.
  11. Thank you Brad! I appreciate the info on the hub caps!
  12. So after visiting the wish list posted here, I decided to see if I could do some of what folks are asking for. (at least the easy stuff). As most of you know, my items are completely new models and are not recasts of old parts. I began with the Dodge D200 hub caps and have since started also on some Chevy ones that were mentioned. I created completely new Dodge grills as well as the repops available don't do it for me. I wanted to get some feedback on these few items before I offer them. If another caster is doing these and you feel theirs are better or just not needed, let me know cause I would rather focus on stuff not available or just needing remodeled. Many of you have sent me requests and they are not being ignored, I just have a lot of pokers in the fire. Some items are easier and can be done quickly while others are far more difficult to create and to get a good product in the end. Thank you all for your support and positive feedback you have given me since the beginning. I hope everyone is happy with the parts they have purchased from me. I am patiently waiting to see some projects with my parts being used. I have sold tons of items but have only seen Jim's 67 Ford with the new grill so far since July of this year and am wondering if there are problems with the parts or are they being stocked up for future builds. The items below are not available just yet...wanting some feedback first. THE TIRE IS FROM A TOY AND IS NOT AVAILABLE (sorry) , the rim in the photo is one of my GM 6 lug wheels available on the website. I thank all of you! Bill 67-??? Chevy hub cap. 73 - ???? Chevy hub cap. 72 Dodge grill 74 Dodge grill.
  13. Confirmed....Jerr-Dan is a popular rollback manufacturer now-a-days. I had a few (real ones) in my fleet when I had my towing business about 15 yrs ago.
  14. I have released several new products on the website, unfortunately a few items I showed in my last post didn't make the cut for this release as I am still not satisfied with them but are still a work in progress and hopefully will be ready soon. Thank you all for your support and patience as I whittle away at these issues before I release them. Most of the items did and they are available now. Any questions about items current or future are welcome. Bill Sorry Alan, I didn't see your post until just now! I started on some fenders with the spare tire cutouts for short and long beds and have them mastered but haven't started on a bed or casting the fenders yet. Hopefully sometime in the future I can get something together.
  15. Thank you guys! Ralph, the tires are from a 1/32 scale toy horse trailer i picked up at a flea market. The rim is one of my GM 6 lug wheels. I grabbed the spare tire from my 64 GMC and set the hubcap in place for the photo.
  16. I have been working on several items to release hopefully within the week. I know I have said this several times but little "issues" with a few items have delayed things a little. I appreciate everyone's patience as I finalize the last few things for this release. I wanted to post a "sneak peek" of the items set for this coming release so folks can begin the idea process for upcoming builds. Comments or inquiries are welcome. Thanks, Bill Diamond tread Ford style bumper. GM style wrap around step bumper. GM style wrap around bumper. (still working on the diamond tread) 60-66 Chevy/GMC west coast style mirrors, Small window insert for Revell 64-66 Chevy pickups. 73-75 Ford grill set. 76-77 Ford grill set. 74 Dodge grill (still cleaning it up a little) Dodge D200 (3/4 ton) hub cap. Modern police push bar. 70's style police push bar. Some mag wheels. Still need to make the spinners!
  17. Hi Tom, at this time, I only have the surround for the window for inside and outside. I have difficulties getting large flat pieces to look good and not warp. With the surrounds, all that is needed is removal of the lip for the kit glass on the cab, a flat piece of 1mm styrene (supplied by the builder), cut out the hole for the window, and glue on the surrounds. It is the same surround pieces and method I used for my 64 GMC build and it worked well without much work. I used a piece of clear plastic from a container of sorts for the glass. I am about to offer several new items on the website (hopefully in a week or so) and the small window surrounds will be added as well. I hope the surrounds will satisfy the need for the small window conversion for everyone. Thanks Bill
  18. Hey Tom, that is a great find! I am getting close on the bumpers and hope to have them available real soon! Glad you found a usable bed for a future project! Bill
  19. Ha Ha! Let me know if you need any pointers on building the box, I have built a couple now and would be happy to help out.
  20. Hi Tom, right now I just have the 8ft box sides with tail light end caps and wheel wells. I believe you bought a set??? It doesn't take much to build the rest of the box. I was going to do a full box but need a pressure pot to get the bubbles out of the resin. I did an 8ft standard wheelbase 73-79 Ford box and am fighting bubbles so pressure pot is on the list for purchase and we will see how it goes.
  21. Beautiful work right down to the inspection sticker in the windshield! Love it!!
  22. Very VERY nice! Well done!
  23. Hi Chris, sorry for taking so long to get back to you, I have been really sick for the past month or so. I am planning on doing the badges for 73-77 Fords for F150, F250, and 350. I already have the F100 fender badges for the 73-75. The door panels ran into a snag that I am curently working out but hope to get figured out soon. I tend to jump around a lot and work on several different things at a time. My focus at this moment has been getting 3 different rear bumpers finalized, new slot mag wheels, new babymoon wheels, and the 73-77 Ford grill surround with separate inserts. I am really close on these items and then will shift to the badges, door panels, and some diorama pieces. Thank you for your patience, Bill.
  24. Excellent work Tom! Love the working components, the subtle weathering, and all the detail! Well done!
  25. Very nice! Excellent used look and engine detail!
