  1. I've never posted a build on this forum, so I thought it was time. This is a build for a build off on another forum. I started with the chassis body and interior of AMT's 29 Model A roadster.the frame has been Zed front and rear. The engine is the flathead from AMT's 49 Mercury kit, with the Offenhauser heads and dual stromberg carburetors. The headers are from two four cylinder in the Model A kit. The center pipe will be scratch built. The body has been channeled and the inner fenders cut out. The rear wheels are parts box whitewall (they where painted silver out of the parts box, they will be stipped and repainted) slicks with "torque thrust" style rims.the front wheels will be wires from Lindberg's 34 ford, and tires from AMT's 57 Chevrolet (old tool) belair. The rear suspension is the kit piece with the "wishbone" split. The front axle is from Lindberg's 34 ford, with the slit wishbones. The grille will be either the stock one or the "track" style nose from Revell's 29 ford pickup. The colours will be black frame, body and grille shell, with red engine, wheels and interior.
  2. Vintage Nascar? Is '94 "Vintage" now?
  3. that is nice
  4. Sweetness. Looks great in red.
  5. Say it ain't so, got any "crime scene" photos?
  6. That is sweet!!! Is it a street car or race car? I saw a cd head unit? I love the idea of the 455 in a regal, but I heard it is no easy task.
  7. Very nice. A friend of mine is building a 1:1 '77 Volaire. 440/auto, 15 inch cragar S/S wheels, 6 inch wide up front, 10 inch wide out back. he is putting a huge sound system in it. The screaming green looks awesome. Mopower all the way. Keep us posted.
  8. I'm sorry, i must have missed the earlier. thanks.
  9. OH Kay. stop teasing us, let us see the chassis and the HEMI. You body skills are something to be hold. Very nice.
  10. Sweet, I'll take two. For the Price Joe got his (in the Movie) I would buy it. You did one hell of a job recreating that beater. I give you an A+.
  11. I "found" these two vids, and thought I'ld share. Some nice old school drag racing. I hope all you guys enjoy this as much I did.
  12. I did a google image search for "custom dodge van" and found this link to some old school advertisement that had vans in them. This link also gives a good idea of what accessories should be on your van. http://iiidragons.com/gallery/Van-Advertisements P.S. Some of them are not kid friendly.
  13. Don't feel bad, you are scary. I like how this hearse is coming along. 19s are the right choice, IMO.
  14. Looks like this will be a nice quicky. I have one question about the revell 50 ford: does it still have the "standard" flathead headers in the kit?
  15. Dude, be careful who you say "no" to. Remember women are devious. You may be showering alone for a while. I really like the idea of the V10 in the Magnum. Makes me want to pull out that old hemi Prowler project, but my wife would kill me if I didn't finish something first, lol.
  16. Ok It all depends on the engine treatment. Vintage (1965 or older) engine, go with steel wheels. Modern engine( ie small block ford/chevy, big block chevy, ford 4.6 cammer) new school wheels.
  17. I always love the 65-68 deville. A hearse is even cooler. What size 100 spokes? 19s or 23s?
  18. I feel for you. I have all the batmobile plastic kits. My first glue kit was the 89 Keaton Batmobile. I hunt E-Bay regularly but have had no luck as of yet. Ok, I found a couple: these are not Mine. Lemans flips another Bullitt chase. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcW-T-thdoE...feature=related Gone in 60 seconds (1974) chase. Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-KX0ESCnCE...feature=related Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YDpgFKcUeM...feature=related Part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gheJFsSsCTo...feature=related Make you want to cry, don't it? That is all for me.
  19. OMG!!!, Superdetailer? No. Masterbuilder, yes. I'm as gitty as a school girl.
  20. WOW!!! That is amazing. Great idea. I wonder if it would work with the Revell 67 Chevelle, too? the style of the 64-69 chevelle/malibu is one of the best chevys, imo.
  21. I'm glad to see somebody that take hold of AMT/MPC/Polar Lights. I don't know what the fuse is about. With the initial run being reissues, we can not expect the world over night. Corrections of RC2 accuracy mistakes will take time and MONEY, the box art mistakes will be easier to fix. And only god knows what tooling has stood the test of time. I hope to see good things in the future.
  22. WOW!!! I've been away for the weekend, on unfortunate family business, and this is the treat I get when I get back. I love it. The wheels set everything off nicely. I say A+ with ang BIG gold star.
  23. Happy B-day there Gregg. I hope you stay well away from here today, Nobody should work on their B-day. P.S. It is not polite to ask a lady her age
  24. That is sweet. Ilove everything about this build, I will be checking back regularly.
  25. WOW!!! I love a fat bottom girl. I have to say this one is uuuggglllyyy, but it was the 70s. You did a great job on this one.
