  1. I'd be wary of a GM minivan though Gary, I believe it's fairly easy to put one of the 3800SC in them......as well as turning up the HP on those little engines!
  2. HHR, heck, I'd still like to see just an XJ Cherokee!
  3. And it's now a Hardtop too!
  4. This one could be done from that uptown series Charger, probably be an improvement on it too.
  5. I think so, hopefully it's only the bird's!
  6. Turns out the Pilot is supposed to register with the FAA, not the airframes, and the registration will be good for 3 years, so $5 for 3 years of legal flight with any plane in your fleet isn't bad. Don't think I could do that in my home county, they require full AMA membership to have the privalege to buy a permit fly in a county owned field.
  7. Yup, in some ways, I blame the "More Money than Brains" portion of society, always seems like those are the types that cause excess insurance costs, additional legislation, and the like via their stupidity. Since any R/C aircraft will fall under these rules (as well as some R/C trucks :p ) I wonder if that $5.00 is per airframe, or will cover the whole fleet? I know guys who's basements and/or garages probably look like scale Smithsonians!
  8. Cool, thanks, looks like it night not be pronounced too different than our term, Jail!
  9. What is a Gaol, a prison? We have had issues with that here, they have been using them to sneak contraban into the prisons here.
  10. What Mike said! Otherwise, I hear this a comin'
  11. Sadly, it's being brought upon the R/C Flying Community because of those who wouldn't follow rules set up for R/C flight by the FAA. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/faa-announces-drone-owners-must-register-by-february-19th-2016/ar-BBnxAAh#image=1 http://www.faa.gov/uas/registration/faqs/#cor
  12. Not complaining, it's 59° and raining in St. Charles, IL right now!
  13. I tend to not watch Fast and Loud (so far as builds are concerned, I prefer Counting Cars), Rich just seems to be an arrogant p.......
  14. Don't see too much of an issue if there were that many made then. It's not like the 440 Six Pack, 4 Speed, Super Track Pack '70 Charger my folks had, it may have been 1 of less than 50 produced.
  15. Was that the same one they put a Crown Vic front suspension on?
  16. Thanks Art, I was curious what the story was behind it!
  17. With theast pay raise I got, Inalso had my hours cut, then cut again, then cut even more to the point that if I had been smart, unemployment would have probably been the smarter option. Then my store changed owners, and while my hourly rate didn't change, my hours dropped a bit more, then have returned to being better than they have in years!
  18. This would work well in a manufacturing end, I'd imagine, especially trying to replicate a carbon finish on an all carbon part without having the builder need to use decals to achive it.
  19. Sorry, my phone isn't playing nice with the site this morning, I'll fix it later on my laptop. edit: Fixed It!
  20. One of the guys over on R/C Crawler found this, it's an old Army jeep with the hood and roof made from the remains of a B-17!
  21. One of the two suction cup mounts for my recently aquired Mobius Camera came in at work today, it's only taken nearly a month and 3 or 4 orders to get and they didn't bother shipping the second one. Now here's the kicker, they never went out of stock and even charged us for the last ones they "shipped".........
  22. Maybe all the goodies from that kit tooled up to fit the new Tri-5's
  23. Sounds like typical Saturday TV programming to me, if I'm tired and it's midday, I've done that too.
  24. Almost forgot, Dad decided to pull the wheel cylinders on the back of my Jeep today, apparently they didn't fight him with the lines into the cylinders as well as the bolts holding them to the backing plates! Not bad considering they are factory parts and the truck has a "Born On Date" of 1/98! That made Dad very happy, his XJ's fought him regularly when he had them.
  25. They're out there, mostly based out of the St. Louis, MO area. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrvoyT5hSBg
