  1. Sounds more like old age, scary thing is, they're all close to my parents in age!
  2. He was also Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movies and was also in Galaxy Quest.
  3. Bought my ticket tonight, know I have a snowball's chance, but it was a whole $2............not exactly gonna break me.
  4. Olds was dying like Plymouth before and Mercury after, Buick was going that way to and should have been on the chopping block instead of Pontiac or Saturn, I also felt either Chevy or GMC Truck should have died too, with the other, and maybe Cadillac taking it's place.
  5. It already has 2 turbos, but the manual trans would take away from the GN-ness of it.
  6. My thoughts here too, it really should have the Riv name attached to it!
  7. I'm really loving that, the new Continental, and the new Chrysler Minivans.
  8. Then again, weren't Von Dutch and Ed Roth?
  9. But those are Grand Cherokees......and banks, got two of them as well!
  10. They did too, in both glue and snap versions, both in 1/20 scale.
  11. Tamiya never offered a Cherokee, only the early ZJ Grand Cherokee, and it wasn't that great of a kit.
  12. Yeah, the stock options alone are phenominal on both with what can be done with minor tooling and decal changes. Then there's what we as hobbiest can do with them once the kits are in our hands!
  13. I have to laugh about this, there is an ex-Jeep dealer that has managed to keep things going with used Jeeps and Jeep service that as of today has a Sesame Street lineup of XJ's going on their front line the last several weeks with anywhere from 2-4 XJ Cherokees and a clean looking 90's Jag XJ Convertible
  14. I doubt it, there is a huge pool of former and current XJ owners that would likely buy at least one kit, they were used as everything from station wagons to first responder vehicles, railroads and forest service used them, then have been modified into everything from nearly no buck road and autocross racers to hard core trail rigs, so there is a massive amount of build subjects that can be done from a kit of them. Another advantage the XJ has is that it's been produced in one form or another since almost new under license of AMC, Chrysler, and at least for a while, Daimler-Chrysler, so they actually have something in China that can be measured to go along with measurements sent from US based researchers, which should help development time with the already seemingly pretty good crew Mobeus has working with them. Proline Racing has made a 1/10 scale lexan body since 2010, if a body, tire, or any of the accessories don't sell that well, they tend to pull it from the market fairly quick, usually within a couple years for ok to decent selling products, yet their '92 XJ has been on the market for 6 years as of this upcoming spring/summer!
  15. The Wagoneer would be great, they didn't change much in nearly 30 years of production, so you could get a '62 and an '89 with minimal modification to the tools! As far as the XJ, you could do a version that would cover '87-'96 and another to cover '97-'01, I don't think they changed much in a modeled way for either "generation".
  16. Be careful next time you drive through Geneva and/or St. Charles Harry, seems like way too many people haven't figured out the car part in those towns!
  17. I'm waiting for a couple Ford wagons from the Blues Brothers movie to pop up on here now.
  18. I saw that, apparently the guy who did the work did 'glas over the gas filler, not completely, only partially?!
  19. I've tried to call my Sister on her phone 2 days in a row, doesn't answer it...........send her a text on the same phone, she replies almost instantly!
  20. I'd rather detail paint than do those stickers, I feel sorry for the Chinese kid that has to put those on!
  21. These are pretty good little trucks and don't take much to make a trail rig out of either, All you need to do is put in a Titan 21t out of an E-Maxx/Revo and silly putty in the diffs.
  22. Actually, that body on the Telluride is a stock, clear body I shot myself, and with the K5, I plan on stripping the grill and detail painting the whole thing.
  23. I heard something about it on the radio Tuesday, but not much.
  24. In some cases, you reap what you sow, if the grandparents were the best parents, they're no less guilty for how their grandkid's parents turned out than themselves.
  25. Beholder, or Beer Holder?
