  1. Nope, not for a year or two.......yet!
  2. I've known him for years, he and his brother (also working there), bought stuff for their own r/c's before they were old enough to work and come from a family that has auto repair businesses! At this point, I'm not sure if he is stupid or lazy............ He also said yesterday that you get the work you pay for, I reminded him that if you don't work, you don't get paid!
  3. A coworker, he was told to finish putting a customer's R/C truck back together and run it after we replaced the flywheel and clutches and reinstalled the engine. Apparently he first tried starting it without hooking the fuel line from the tank to the carb, then I had to tell him to run the line from the tuned pipe to the tank (using exhaust as a fuel pump). He starts it again, no throttle response......didn't put the carb linkage on either...........I kinda wanted to shoot him with an airsoft gun at that point..............
  4. I want to see the IIHS try and do their offset crash tests on this! I watch one of the small overlap tests on a 4dr JK Wrangler and it did better than newer a whole bunch of newer cars and crossovers!
  5. People who tint their tail lights, came up on a pickup like that tonight and could barely see the light shining through!
  6. That is an interesting vehicle, could be interesting seeing them make it road legal though.
  7. I hope you will post pics of that car when you guys are done with it, it should be pretty fantastic!
  8. Lol, Tom
  9. I went to the storage area we keep our stuff in to find a couple crawler motors I was missing and found one of them as well as a scraper/squeegie that I thought went to the crusher with my Lebaron in '04.
  10. One thing to keep in mind Harry, The USPS also does some of Fed-UPS shipping for them, especially to small, rural towns like the one Mom grew up in. Fed-UPS wouldn't bother dispatching a truck theredue to costs, but they have their little P.O. right on the main drag to pick up packages up at. With Fed-UPS, my cousin would have to drive 20+min to get packages at a town big enough to "deserve" a store.
  11. My employer still uses it heavily, we sell alot via E-Bay and use USPS for shipping. We regularly have 2 heaping weekday pickups (w/morning delivery) as well as a Saturday P/U and Delivery, if there were Sunday service, we'd likely have stuff going out then too.
  12. Works for me, although, I do work in retail, usually have at least one weekday off, plus tend to work evening shifts, so it's all good there ;)
  13. Wouldn't being open more hours literally take an act of Con-gress to allow them to do so? It's why they're in up to their eyeballs as it is!
  14. Too bad they didn't have a stripped down, SD big block version called "The Executioner" to match, maybe something more 440 6bbl Super Bee/Road Runner or WO23/32 or COPO 427 like.
  15. Wow, it's been decades since I'd seen or heard anybody mention the Kodak Disk Camera!
  16. We got in a couple of the Burton/Keaton Movie AMT Batmobile kits at work today, I want one! Just have to wait until I get paid next Friday to get one...... o
  17. I'll have to check out the Jewel-Osco Mom and I worked at now, see if they have anything left for that.
  18. Not gonna argue that one!
  19. We also need a "I wish I could afford the kit!" option, if I could afford such a kit, I would be all over an E-Type vs the Lambo!
  20. I have to agree with Harry, couldn't justify the expence (I'll be building that little Suzuki Jimny for less, and can drive it when done!), but that would be an awesome kit!
  21. I do get concerned about the less obvious stuff, if it's hard to distinguish as a police vehicle, how does one know it's an actual cop?
  22. Let me add, I've seen more female Mustang GT owners than I have female Miata owners...........
  23. I bought a new servo for that little R/C Suzuki Jimny kit at work and left on the counter at work.....didn't realize it until I got home after we closed the store tonight...... Luckily, I have to drive by there on my day off tomorrow, so I can pick it up on my way through.
  24. That's what I like about my 200, looks like a rental, accelerates like a muscle car
  25. Best one yet!
