  1. Not only that, but it looks like it might be an AWD model, which sits an inch higher than the RWD car does.
  2. Eh, I stil call it Comiskey most of the time
  3. That sucks, I was just listening to their "Iron Man II" sound track on my way home from work tonight.
  4. Seems like starting out in '16 might be the better choice, gives them more time to develop things. Would love to see him create his own chassis and maybe engine at some point too.
  5. We shouldn't be too far short of the winter of '77-'78 after this year, last I read, we were pretty close!
  6. Eventually
  7. I was off work at 6pm tonight and had to make a run to Elburn before heading home. THE roads weren't bad, but the visbility sucked from the store to Elburn as well as the rest of the trip back to West Chicago, not sure if I even had 1/2 mile of visibilty at times!
  8. That should have been the same plant then, up until that plant went off line, the only modern Jeep that hadn't been built there was the Grand Cherokee, which us still being built in Michigan.
  9. Depends, you should be able to air up or down on the move. I saw a Drive episode on YouTube where the guy was driving an Audi wagon with an AccuAir system that allowed the driver to have a set cruising altitude, high roller stance (that was taller than stock), a parking lot/fairgrounds stance, all while on the move, and then when you parked the car, it would air out completely and set the car in the weeds. Wasn't cheap, but if I were going to bag something, that's where I would look first. It would even be if use for my parent's minivan when Mom was more mobile and could go places, just park it and air out the suspension and make it easier for her to get into and then air it all the way up so it would be easier for her to get out of and since it could take into account the weight in the vehicle, it could handle their luggage and Mom mobility scooter and could be aired up to deal with places like the driveways around Branson, MO where ground clearance and suspension travel is more useful than you would think.
  10. Been there, or been chastized for doing something nobody told me not to do or not knowing about something I wasn't there for.
  11. Was that still the same plant my XJ Cherokee was built in?
  12. I wouldn't, plenty of fiberglass clones out there to build from.
  13. I'M still wondering when # became a symbol for pounds, I always used lbs instead.
  14. Not by much, they would have stuck a matching set of rims and non airbag wheel on it then stuck their logo all over it.
  15. Don't get me started about salt on a floor Harry.............
  16. I know, my sister and I were out and about some today and I actually had the A/C in my 200 on (didn't want to roll down the windows, had loose stuff in the back seat), just tooooooo nice today!
  17. Wow, I'm always all for a good hot rod, but that is odd and rare enough that is should be restored, not gas monkeyed.
  18. My high school American History teacher told us once that her Mom was a nurse in rural Wisconson in the late 60's and early 70's. They started getting couples coming in from some really rural areas to her hospital and as the expecting parents hear the official medical names of different male or female specific reproductive parts, some of the new parents decided to name their children after these organs and such because of how beautiful these new and wonderous names sounded..............She then stated she would hate to have to do the roll call for that class room
  19. My thoughts exactly Danno!
  20. Thanks guys, I was wondering about that. I have heard that the C5's still used balsa, guess it was still the best material available at the time those were designed, even compared to different metals and composites.
  21. Do they still use balsa in the floor?
  22. My folks talked of stuff like that back in the 50's and 60's (early Beetles and post war Jeeps), but that involved putting them in school buildings upright and in one piece.
