  1. I've always said that when it comes to stuff like this that I'm not creative to come up with stuff that stupid.
  2. Since when do track day cars have A/C?
  3. I had been hearing stories the past few weeks that things were getting bad there and Cindy was looking to sell, didn't expect to hear that though. Got lucky with my store, new owners who were with the Rockford Franchise bought it and managed to do a sofar significant turn around on the place........I was begining to expect to show up to work one day to find a "Store Closing" sign on the front of the store. I'm one of a couple if the "old" employees that was retained too, can't say how good it is to see stock on the shelves and not expecting to see that sign on the door going into work.
  4. Don't look at me, I've got nearly nothin'!
  5. Talking to the R/C Airplane guys, they're just as sick of this rain/wind/cold as they were of the snow and cold.............these guys just want to get out and fly!
  6. Have to admit, I like his attitude on the whole deal.
  7. We're getting rain, according to one of the news stations, we're also in for 7 more days of it......
  8. Actually, I think that used to be a Ford F-Series!
  9. Wait, somebody actually approved that front bumper cover design for production? That somehow makes the Lexus black widow grills almost good?!
  10. Fish Tacos...............no thank you!
  11. Kinda irked with myself now. I had read a couple times that the head unit in my Chrysler not only was an AM/FM/Satallite radio and CD player that happens to have a 30gig Hard Drive with a 6.5" touch screen, but also has a DVD player built into it that that allows you to watch DVD's while the car is at least in Park if it has an auto or if the parking brake is set for stick shift equipped cars like the Challenger and those can be loaded into the HD too! Now what irks me is that it took me so long to confirm this, could have put this to use many times while waiting in the car for my Dad or Sister while they were running into stores to get stuff! Now I'm going to load my Firefly disk into it after work tonight.
  12. And yet they'll probably complain about how bad the local drivers are....... We've run into a few of that particular motorist down in Branson, MO......as bad as they are in this area, they somehow qctually get worse in the Ozarks?!
  13. Heading home from Chicago today I had a couple SUV's ahead of me by several car lengths with one that was starting to pull onto an exit ramp when the SUV driver in my lane suddenly slams on their brakes to slow down to get in line behind the other SUV when the that driver suddenly slams on their brakes for no apparent reason. Seeing this, I get on my brakes to make darned sure I don't end up in that mess and the next thing I know, my Sister starts yelling at me telling me not to turn onto that ramp and I start yelling back at her that I was trying not to run into these idiots in front of us and had no intention of turning there.......her BF was silently sitting behind her in the back seat.....I think she pulls that nonsense on him too, no matter who's driving.
  14. Yikes, best of luck to you.
  15. YUP, exatly Harry, that's all I was around yesterday! Didn't matter if I was in North Aurora, Naperville, Elburn, St. Charles, ect, they were all the same, and usually driving some sort of appliance car from Toyota or Pre-Bailout full sized and FWD Buick!
  16. Wonder how they compare to the Shelby/Dodgd Fiberide rims from 1989..............
  17. Thank you Harry!
  18. Can I add all of the Toyota and Buick drivers as well as the general idiots I was around while running errands today to my list? By the time I got home I was wishing I had the truck from "Dual" instead of my 200 today................I'm actually looking forward to driving into the city tomorrow?!
  19. Sounds like the Dunkin Donuts here. We've got a DD/Baskin-Robbins on the north side if town less than 10min from home, another DD/B-R about 5min north on the same highway, then a stand alone DD about 2min south of home, and then a DD/Subway (one of 3 Subways in town too.....) about 5min southwest from home.
  20. Well, sometimes better, this time, worse. I have preferred to take a nap on the way home like the other two did (we left around 8am and then walked for hours), but just couldn't bring myself to do so.
