  1. Time, money, and weather all aligned right and I was able to get the 200 washed today! ]
  2. Eh, so long as they didn't try to aerobatics in a 777, I wouldn't be tooooo uncomfortable with that, same with R/C pilots.
  3. Cool, but I call dibs on the barrel rolling Hornet!
  4. Is that a Giordano's ad?
  5. Wonder what the guys with the Shelby-Dodge/Turbo Dodge stuff do now then, I think a lot of those ran speed rated 225/50r15's, if not from the factory, as an upgrade from stock sizes. I'm kinda wondering how hard it will be to find 235/75r15's for my Jeep before long too.
  6. Well, at least the lack of humidity has to come in handy for painting!
  7. That could look neat with a roof rack and a couple mini surfboards on the said racks.
  8. I think the both got many, many girls..........IIRC, Luke may have been related to a number of the kids at the Hazzard Co. Orphanage
  9. Eh, so long as it's hanging from the spool, or at least within reach of the seat, I'm happy!
  10. Well, done right, you can still taste the dog
  11. Seeing as I was born in Ames, IA.........could be an Iowa thing
  12. Could be, it's one of the few Chicago things I've never picked up on in the 35 of my 37 years I've lived here.
  13. We're not there yet, plenty of rain once again, kinda crappy and cool out now too. Come August, we just might be posting here instead.
  14. That's terrible G, my Mom lost her oldest Sister that way 18 years ago when she was 60, and on Christmas Day no less. Luckily she was with the rest of their family for the holiday at their youngest sister's place and they were able get EMS there, but it was too late and she was taken off life support the next day.
  15. That's why I said "should" Harry, no place does it, even though we're supposed to. If I know the customer and they have that written on their card, I don't bother asking for their I.D., but if I don't know them, I will and most of thd time it's appreciated. I have heard of people getting mad if they don't sign and get asked for I.D........... Not sure how the self swiper thing works if card companies want the cashier to check signatures and such then the stores don't have the cashiers check.......or put them at self checkouts where there is on cashier for 4 registers.
  16. I'd like to get my 200 washed, but is seems like if I have the weather, I don't have the time and/or money, and if I have the time or money I don't have the weather and/or money or time............if that latter part actually makes sense.
  17. Technically, if you guys don't sign, the store should refuse to accept the card as per the credit card company's rules. Even if you write C.I.D., See I.D., Ask for I.D., ect on the card, the cashier is supposed to refuse the card for one that is signed or another form of payment.........like cash or check, if checks are still taken at said establishments. I've signed my C.C. then added See I.D. next to the signature, but have yet to be asked for my license when the cashier is the one to swipe it.
  18. But being TV, that will be followed by a video of the now once again straight car and pristine camper will be tearing away from that landing site.
  19. Same here, I will pay cash or write a check whenever I can before using my Credit Card, and now that I'm getting some decent hours once again, that will change!
  20. Sometimes I just wonder if I'm going to see something like this in Downtown Geneva driving to or from work one day, especially on Rt. 38/Roosevelt Rd./State St./Lincoln Highway.
  21. Ever bought around Road America? IIRC, it was nearly as bad as here!
  22. Ah, not in Illinois then!
  23. Got a couple new shots of the Challenger tonight!
  24. That does sound like a line Mel Brooks would write into one of his movies too!
