I think that generation of Hemi might have been based on Raised Block, but the Hemi block was an improved design that was sturdier than the B/RB blocks.

Too bad you don't live closer to my store, se have a decent selection of those reissues! Now if I could better afford to, the selection would be worse......

We've had some melt off already, so another 1/2" wouldn't be sooooo bad right now since it won't be adding to the piles and probably melt off right away anyway.

I just looked out into the back yard and saw part of it is flooded (literally under water!) and noticed yesterday while swapping that filter in my 200 that it even though it looked like it should be swamp city, it was still solid enough to barely get any mud on my shoes.........I should have been all but sinking into it.

Could be a GM setup, I'm just not familiar with the 1:1 4x4 truck IFS systems. Literally the only vehicles we've owned that were IFS and powered the front wheels were the 4 FWD cars and 1 Minivan we've owned over the last couple decades.

Yeah, a X-Frame GM car that supposedly came from a rust belt farm would seem to have a disadvantage vs the same car from a friendlier climate if those two were run together let alone into one of these modern tanks. It would probably make a modern car look even better than when compared to a more structurally sound platform (in both in original design and current condition) of the same vintage as that Chevy..

That would be the wrong front suspension for that generation of 4x4 Ram, those used something more like the solid axle and 4 link with a track bar like what the MJ, XJ, ZJ, and TJ Jeeps all used........just heavier duty. The '02 and newer 1500's are IFS while the 2500 and 3500 Rams still use the beafier version of that solid axle front suspension.

Depends, when I prepay, I usually give the cashier too much to make sure I fill the tanks then go back and get the change and in many cases buy a snack and/or sugary beverage with the change. I can see if somebody gave enough to put some fuel in and go having an affect on in store sales, but not as much as pay at the pump could.

I was looking over if a bit more with Dad, he figured all it would take was to blow/knock the debris out of it and use it longer, but the K&N is in there now. Also pulled out a corregated felt mystery tube (it's thought to be a silencer among other Avenger and 200 owners who've done the same) out of the airbox.

Not to mention it was off a farm in Indiana, IIRC. Spent my whole life in the midwest, no doubt that in my mind that if were a Full frame GM or Unibody Mopar from Arizona that things might have been a bit more even.

Lol, dealership told me months ago when I had my 200 in for an oil change that the air filter was dirty, then reminded me when I had it in to have the head rest recall done. Well, I finally had the chance to swap in the K&N I got for it...............Yup, that is one filthy, filthy filter after less than 22k miles!
