  1. I'm thrilled that Round 2 has bought Lindberg, I'd love to see the kits from the last 20 years or so come back! As for the 1/20 kits, Those actually scale out nicely to Losi's Micro Rock Crawler and Trail Trekker R/C's and RC4WD's Micro Scale Axles and Tires. So long as those are available, there will likely be some interest in them from that portion of the R/C Crawling hobby.
  2. If I remember right, there's signs something like 1/4-1/2 mile from there with plenty of chance to stop and turn before the buildings those cameras are in.
  3. The cameras don't belong to the city, they were set up by an recently immigrated (Western Europian, can't remember where exactly) employee of the company that owns the buildings those cameras are in. He hadn't been there long when he found that somebody hit that guard atleast once a month.......and that it was a great source on entertainment for the people he now works with. He's done research on the bridge's history as well as shot videos of idiots hitting it. The reason the bridge or the road is left alone is that it costs way to much for infrastructure changes for more clearance. To raise the bridge would require at least a couple miles worth of elevation changes to the track that runs over it and then going deeper to lower the road would require reworking underground pipes and other infrastructure. The costs severely outweigh the benifits of changing at least one if not both of the above, plus the city probably gets ticket money from said idiots, the rental companies get refurbashed or new trucks, and we get the videos to laught at!
  4. That guy has a Youtube page, always love getting those updates! It's not that this bridge is that strong, the railroad has installed what is basically a giant submarine bar made from girders, that's what slices and dices those rigs
  5. Just had a chance to play that again on Friday, first time since August! I've already recreated the Road Anvil and my all black Javelin from Horizon in it, even bought the Gremlin and Omni GLHS and will buy the Hornet and '40 Deluxe once I get more credits built back up...........then build them up too
  6. I don't drink, but just might go and licquer up my 200 tomorrow, it's pretty fond of whiskey
  7. I was able to get a year membership for $45 through Target about a month ago vs the $60 I paid for my sister's for Christmas.
  8. I've done a few of the Vandura's now. One is now mechanically built and painted a dark blue, but haven't done any graphics on it yet so there are no "pics" of it. This one is the sleeper van, full weight reduction, biggest and stickiest rear tires available, full on drivetrain and brakes, while it's otherwise stock. Then there's my Hooligan or Hoon Van, Same mods as the Sleeper, but mid range suspension mods, no sway bars, and big and bigger Fiske wheels with stock compound tires. It's built just to screw around with! This one is available on the store front too Then there is the road anvil, went full on "Street Fighter" with this one. Built it to the max, over 500hp and capable of 150+ mph Then there's the van from my first post on the topic, fairly wild mechanically, but not as while as the Anvil and has the A-Team van bumpers. Drop a 6.0l LS motor and 4L80E, this would make a pretty sweet cruiser in real life!
  9. Wow, looks great!
  10. Very Nice! Believe it or not, the cargo version of these vans are now available for down load on the Forza 4 and Horizon games for XBox!
  11. That's another one that would be good for the song "My Ride from Outer Space" from Phineas and Ferb!
  12. Wait, if the wax has gold in it, wouldn't that scratch the paint?
  13. Hopefully the cage they claim is in there would be sufficent enough, still wouldn't want to be in one and get hit by a semi with the push bars ment for hitting things like Deer, Cattle, Kangaroo, ect!
  14. I haven't spent that much on all of my cars combined!
  15. Can't be, I think I see power tools, and there is a severe lack of whiskey
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bIn_ZgHJaE
  17. I hope so, hope I can afford them too..............
  18. No, a Morgan inspired 3 wheeler would be low slung and cool looking.......that thing is just a 3 wheeled penalty box. Probably be ok for people who only own a car because they need one or can't afford to buy then fuel much more than that. I'd much rather have the new Morgan than that thing.....................
  19. We got a little yesterday and supposed to get a little more tomorrow.....Jeep spent a couple more days out on the road before spring.
  20. What we've received in the past couple weeks is going away and hopefully untill atleast November! Had to go and top off the 200 today too and between the rain and snow, we had a little fog, so I shot a couple quick pics with my phone before heading home.
  21. I had heard that the those had a horrible rust problem, that might be some of it.
  22. Got a better pic of the tires on that red Chrysler? I think Dad and I threw out a set of those nearly 10 years.......and they had to be almost 40 years old at the time!
  23. I do see a bunch of Aston-Martin as well as Mustang, but no Bugatti............I do think there's a bar of soap in the bathroom down the hall that does look a whole lot like the Veyron though!
  24. I still don't see what's so big about having the inferior rear suspension over some variation of solid axle.......outside of looking more high tech. If you looks at External Explosion's XJ-R GRM 2012 Jeep Cherokee or Petty Cash Racing's #430 Jeep Cherokee 24 Hours of Lemons and Chump Car racer. They've both been top finishers and while 2wd, they have 2 solid axles regularly out perform what should have been faster cars with those trucks!
