  1. Just be careful of any Whovians driving by, especially the ones that are legitimately freaked out by these
  2. So long as they don't look like these I'll be happy
  3. Would be worth every penny! As would that, even if you had to leave the plow sitting on the ground and drag it back!
  4. Lol, that's going to be sweet!
  5. Haven't seen a lowrider like that in some time!
  6. Something just hit me about that motor....Can you imagine what kind of unholy monster that engine would be if they put in some of the modern engineering and tech like they did on the Pentastar motor that's in my 200. The Pentastar in Challenger trim is supposed to be good for 305 horse and 268 Ft/LBS out of 220 cubes, a modern version of those heads made to take advantage of the VVT and modern fuel management systems on an engine that big could be psychotically powerful
  7. Looks good so far! I'm curious though, what did you use for the injectors and rails?
  8. Could always get normal rims decaled instead
  9. So Harry's and Gregg's Mustangs are part Jaaaaaaag then?
  10. Wonder how well Carbon Fiber wheels would tolerate a Chicago winter
  11. Wonder if those will go as far as the Fiberglas wheels on the Shelby CSX-VNT did.
  12. It has a bunch of motor in it and probably a bunch of chassis work. I am reminded of something Dolly Parton has been know to say in relation to her surgeries though..............."It takes a lot of money to look this cheap!"
  13. Yup, that's some of why I'm driving my Jeep right now and why I kept it when the 200 was bought.
  14. Here here! I'm driving the Jeep right now, but have only needed the scrapper enough to clear it's winshield........once! I've not even worn any kind of jacket much so far..............
  15. It was bought by an idiot with more time and sandpaper than brains and sense.
  16. Looks good so far! Apparently this kit was more or less a rip off of the AMT '40, so it was better than the other kits from it's original manufacturer.
  17. End of the world, that looks like what I've got in my back yard..........I'm kinda disappointed to be honest, I should be having to clear 12" of snow off the Jeep to get to work today judging by the noises coming from outside all night and that's all we got!
  18. We're getting there, read something recently about a company that is working to make Ethanol from garbage and Dupont is building a plant to create it from not normally used portions of plants (corn stalks for example!) Eh, catch him at the light or sign and drag his rump out of an unlocked door or even halfway through an open window would work, especially if the guy in the pickup had no situational awareness
  19. I hit a deer with the Shadow Turbo Coupe I used to own and it still ran off (and the car was still driveable too!), Don't even want to think about hitting a bear!
  20. I think the police are catching on to that nonsense. A friend of mine was running around in his warmed over 6.0l SuperDuty and saw an old CUCV K-20 rolling coal all over everything. Maybe a hour or so later, he was pulled over by a city cop because there had been 911 calls about a truck dumping black smoke everywhere, and since he has a SuperDuty, he got stopped and questioned. In that conversation, he told the cop that he refused to do that with his SD, but had seen that CUCV rolling coal earlier and was willing to bet it was that guy he was looking for. Not sure what came of it, but my friend was pretty pissed about being profiled because of that other truck owner.
  21. Diesels have almost become the "ricers" of truck modding. I guess a little smoke is good for the engines when under heavy load (pulling, racing, ect), but when they start pouring out that much smoke it's more for show and/or to be raging douchebags (moreso the latter) and just wastes $4.00+ a gallon fuel. Funny you mentioned coal, they actually call doing that "Rolling Coal" and use and little excuse to do that.......See somebody on a bicycle, dump smoke on 'em....see a hybrid, dump smoke on them too........see a car with an open window, fill it with smoke, even if it's a minivan with kids in it.
  22. I can think of two major advantages of OHV engines vs OHC, DOHC engines in particular...... #1. Center of gravity, less valvetrain mass and is mostly lower in the block too which will help lower the engine's and vehicle's CG. #2. Packaging, OHC and especially DOHC V engines are wider than OHV and especially Flathead motors. A good example would be Chrysler's 3.8l OHV Minivan motors, 3.5l SOHC "Prowler" motor, and 3.6l Pentastar motor that replaced both the 3.8l and 3.5l. The 3.8l doesn't seem much wider than a modern DOHC inline engine where the 3.5l is noticeably wider and the 3.6l looks huge, especially in the FWD vehicles.
  23. Those are kinda like the Brock Sampson Charger, there's already kits available that can be built into those...........now if somebody in the two related industries would think about licensing those kits and shows together.................
  24. Come to think of it, I'd love.to have one of the Batmobiles from "The Animated Series"! Always thought it looked like a cross between a Batmobile and a landspeed racer
