This, if they back dated the body on the kit though the license plate will back in the driver side rear door, the trim will more like that gen's trim (hopefully they left it off all together! I asked at the show yesterday if the 80's-early 90's grill and '78-'95 bumpers were still in the kit, but they guy I asked wasn't sure if they were still going to be in there.

IIRC, the name Rat Roaster had more to do with it being mid-late 60's inspired build that should be capable of taking down a big block muscle car on the street or strip and be somewhat driveable.

Wow, the fourth gen nose was hideous in comparision to the rest.

It is 1/24, it looks kinda funny next to the AMT vans because of that and the different length body shells and wheelbase.

That wouldn't take much though, It's too bad that the F/S 2wd truck Rallys or mid to late 90's cop wheels aren't currently available in styrene, those would look way better than the passenger car Rallys do on that van.

I think I just heard my wallet make a toilet flushing sound IIRC Chassis wise, the G10 isn't as good as AMT's G20 and the interior isn't really any better, overall appearance is about right and I'll bet the body tools are in better shape than the AMT one is now in too. Keep in mind that the biggest difference will be scale of the kit and body size, the AMT kit is a 1/25 scale and is of the 125" wheelbase model while this one is 1/24 scale and is of the 110" wheelbase model, which in comparison looks kinda "stumpy" compared to the 125"and especially the 150"+ models in 1/1 as well

Yea, from what I've heard, they restore existing Deloreans, build new cars from N.O.S. parts, and they build hot rodded ones too. If they set up that ev system to it's full potential, it will be QUICK and be able to walk all over over what could be very quick cars in their own right!

Eh, a few layers of Enamal should fix those issues.......

This is another kit I'd buy, like the '40 P/U, it's not the latest and greatist, but it appears to be a neat kit that has boatloads of possibilities...

I'm thinking about it, last one I bought was in red.....and I also found out Krylon primer sucks as a barrier when painting something white....

While unrelated to the death of Dan Wheldon, it's another sad occasion in what will long be remembered as a dark day in motorsports history. The accident occurred approximately 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon when the plane, a Beach 33 Bonanza, was attempting to make an emergency landing at the Barstow/Dagget Airport. Huseman and his family were returning from the Monster Energy Cup held in Las Vegas last night. According to DIRTNewz, his younger brother Jeff was one of the three people killed. It's unclear who the third victim is. Huseman has been racing 1997 and was the first PRO4X4 Traxxas TORC Series Championship in 2009, garnering six wins and 10 podium finishes. In 2010, Husman won the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Pro-4 Championship. He was in second place in the 2011 Lucas Oil Series following the most recent race in Arizona, just 23 points behind the leader. Huseman was 38 years old.

Having been to Road America last two summers for the Nationwide races there, I'd love to see NASCAR run a Bathurst style Sprint Cup race at Road America! Of course, if they were to do a two driver enduro race, each team can only use 1 "hired gun" per car.
