  1. I was trying to make fun of the Tapatalk app that announces what mobile device you're posting from as a sig line at the bottom of any post it's used for.
  2. Who else is geeking out on the van kits coming back? Sent from my phone in the back of a Chrysler Town & Country oddly enough.
  3. Just out of curiousity, who's going to I-Hobby this weekend? Dad and I'll be going Saturday. .
  4. I think I just heard my wallet make a toilet flushing sound IIRC Chassis wise, the G10 isn't as good as AMT's G20 and the interior isn't really any better, overall appearance is about right and I'll bet the body tools are in better shape than the AMT one is now in too. Keep in mind that the biggest difference will be scale of the kit and body size, the AMT kit is a 1/25 scale and is of the 125" wheelbase model while this one is 1/24 scale and is of the 110" wheelbase model, which in comparison looks kinda "stumpy" compared to the 125"and especially the 150"+ models in 1/1 as well
  5. Yea, from what I've heard, they restore existing Deloreans, build new cars from N.O.S. parts, and they build hot rodded ones too. If they set up that ev system to it's full potential, it will be QUICK and be able to walk all over over what could be very quick cars in their own right!
  6. Eh, a few layers of Enamal should fix those issues.......
  7. Crooks or deadbeats? Are they threatening to turn off the water yet?
  8. This is another kit I'd buy, like the '40 P/U, it's not the latest and greatist, but it appears to be a neat kit that has boatloads of possibilities...
  9. I'm thinking about it, last one I bought was in red.....and I also found out Krylon primer sucks as a barrier when painting something white....
  10. http://jalopnik.com/5850330 Rick Huseman, off-road racing champion, dies in plane crash Champion off-road racer Rick Huseman was killed this afternoon in a plane crash near Barstow, California. While unrelated to the death of Dan Wheldon, it's another sad occasion in what will long be remembered as a dark day in motorsports history. The accident occurred approximately 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon when the plane, a Beach 33 Bonanza, was attempting to make an emergency landing at the Barstow/Dagget Airport. Huseman and his family were returning from the Monster Energy Cup held in Las Vegas last night. According to DIRTNewz, his younger brother Jeff was one of the three people killed. It's unclear who the third victim is. Huseman has been racing 1997 and was the first PRO4X4 Traxxas TORC Series Championship in 2009, garnering six wins and 10 podium finishes. In 2010, Husman won the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Pro-4 Championship. He was in second place in the 2011 Lucas Oil Series following the most recent race in Arizona, just 23 points behind the leader. Huseman was 38 years old.
  11. Beats me, I've had people follow me in, but haven't been on the desktop at home much since it went back up.
  12. That's one of the few top swaps I've seen that work better than the factory top.
  13. But does that one also have a gasoline engine for a back up
  14. Having been to Road America last two summers for the Nationwide races there, I'd love to see NASCAR run a Bathurst style Sprint Cup race at Road America! Of course, if they were to do a two driver enduro race, each team can only use 1 "hired gun" per car.
  15. That's why I think it could be a clay mock up, rolling stock and brakes look real, but the rest looks more curbside like. I still have no clue what it is though.
  16. I'll have to look for that booth when I go, not expecting much this year though, it's been dieing out for the past couple years.
  17. I'm thinking it's a model, probably a large scale prototype (clay perhaps?), I'm just not too sure what it's a model off
  18. Found a version that is still on YouTube guys!
  19. The HTU I work for started to carry these micro lego animals and we have a built up pig on the counter and we were joking about if we should call it Arnold (Green Acres), Ned (as in Beatty), or now after this weekend Darryl or DW!
  20. You know Chuck, I almost wonder if that could have been aimed at the young teen market. IIRC I was in high school when that came out and it did almost seem too mature for younger kids even then.
  21. Funny you mention that Ron, we had a customer that was asking if we could get models of a '59 Dodge as well as the early 60's Dodge Lancers today. Not sure what is worse, telling somebody that the car they're looking for hasn't been made in decades or that there likely isn't enough interest to create a model of one (as I'm standing next to a shelf with a bunch of different '57 Chevy's, Early Mustang's and Camaro's, '32 Ford's on them )
  22. I'll still watch Phineus and Ferb as well as Kick Buttowski, but not much else any more. Used to love the Batman cartoons that were on in the 90's, especially the streamliner like Batmobile and all the art deco vehicles they used. Also used to watch Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, South Park, Simpsons, and Futurama all the time but haven't had the chance to any more.
  23. If you're willing to get rid of them for cheap, try having a garage sale, I did that with a bunch of mine a few years back and all but gave away a few on here a couple years back.
  24. Found the video of DW in that car, not the cleanest language...but then again, I'm sure his underware was cleaner when he got in that it was when he got out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr1a81v-zsg&feature=player_embedded
  25. I was able to watch most of it and those last few laps were intense no matter who they were showing! Hopefully the video of DW trying not to soil himself will be posted in it's entirety, I'll bet some of the original NASCAR racers wouldn't squeal like he was while riding around that track.......
