  1. I don't do any online shopping, so no I haven't. I do know a lot of people who have bought LiPo batteries for cheap from them, usually with decent luck on quality.
  2. Real, I think it's one of the Ford built "jeeps". IIRC old Henry got pissed because he was building somebody else's truck under that contract and not his and it had to be 100% identical to the Willys' "jeeps" for obvious parts compatibility/ease of battlefield repair reasons. Apparently the only thing he could do to make them "His" was stamp and/or cast his F script into all the parts on the Ford "jeeps"
  3. Is that the exhaust cross over pipe running between the engine and radiator?
  4. Ah, thanks Slant! Don't know if I can make it, Dad and I still need to pull the Jeep apart and find where it's leaking antifreeze and we're not totally sure if it's the radiator or water pump If you walked past a dark green Cherokee in the Dupage lot and smelled antifreeze, that was mine
  5. I saw that same Concord at the Dupage show too (guy had 2 of them, IIRC!) and stopped to see if he had one of the LHS'. I looked on eBay and emodelcars too but there weren't any on there at the time though. I don't need one right away luckily, I was more curious than anything else, but I appreciate the offer! I didn't know the Countryside show was still going on, it's been over a decade since I went last. Are they still at that hotel just east of "The Strangler" near Mannheim, or have they moved it to a different location?
  6. AH Ha, I thought it was Brookfield! I looked for one at the local show a couple weeks back but they nobody had one this time around. Thanks Rob, I'll continue to keep an eye out for one of those
  7. I've been wondering doe a while now if this car had ever been modeled in any way, shape or form. I always thought they'd make a great looking mild Kustom and would love to give it a try and I thought there might have been one sold as a bank, but can't remember for sure.
  8. I thought the AMT one was mostly in bare plastic?
  9. I'd probably use the AMT '57 Ford kit, IIRC it's got a nice 312 with the Paxton blower in it
  10. Gotta agree with Mark here. At least he's "one of us", knew there was something I liked about him
  11. Well, we have a dozen airbags, traction control, ABS, Stability Control, Tire Pressure Sensors, and nearly every luxury option you could want, isn't that progress
  12. None that I know of, however they have owned the AFX Slot Car line for a number of years and have recently brought out the first new home set HO car in probably a decade or more! With any luck if they keep with the current R2 contract, they might have some willingness to go farther with them in the future!
  13. Considering the disaster RC2 made of things, I have no problems with it at all
  14. You can still get the Liberty like that overseas, same with the Cherokee's like I have when they were still being built in Austria and both were set up like the HHR panel vans on the inside.
  15. The AMTRAK cops get Chargers? I figured they'd be Exploders like the rest of the railroad cops use
  16. Has anybody heard from LAV25? He lives in Japan and I haven't had a chance to check on RC Crawler to see if he's posted there.
  17. Eh, Clarkson just forgot the really heavy tool box on the passenger seat
  18. ok, need a bit of a haircut here, and will again soon too! And this one isn't much better, but I don't have my glasses on here
  19. You think that's bad? I guess it shares the platform with this thing Just hope who ever buys one doesn't also own a St. Bernard
  20. It's not bad, but would probably be better is that was stretched over a platform that was a foot or so longer.
  21. Congrats, I'm a bit envious man!
  22. Those are fantastic Peter!
