  1. I don't know about that, there used to be part numbers for those kits in the old computer system at the HTU I work for. I'll have to look tomorrow and see if they're still in the current system. As for the movie Cars, I still love that movie, as does my kid sister, both of us are adults without kids
  2. OK, that's weird! I was looking at mine last night thinking that the deck lid and taillight surrounds would make a neat looking tonneau and lined up nicely with the seat backs. I do like how the stock bumper looks on that artwork and your build too, seems to fit the appearance better than the roll pan and grill. I have to do a different color though, pastels aren't my thing I'm getting a new few ideas for mine from these pics!
  3. Thanks Harold, looks as if those little pieces of flash need to be cut out for both the bumper and pan.
  4. Got a question for you Harold, I noticed a small flash like section of plastic towards the insides of the tail light hoops where the trunk dips down to meet the rear bumper that looks like it should be cut out but doesn't say to do so in the instructions and interferes with the fit of both the centers of the stock bumper and the roll pan Am I right in thinking that those little bits of styrene need to be cut out?
  5. Well, I usually a tinker with a few kits here and there, not really doing much other than the fiddly pre-paint stuff on them. Now on occasion I get a bug and throw together something simple (usually the Revell snappers or that AMT Challenger I built last fall) but hopefully cool and different looking. Between work (although that didn't stop the Challenger), weather (I live in the Chicago Burbs), other hobbies, and the internet (spend way too much time on that ) I don't get much styrene work done
  6. Wow, you guys have me beat, I usually can barely finish 1 model every 2-3 years
  7. Hey Markus, what are you planning to do with that package tray area? I've been debating about making a cover for mine from the convertible top cover or cutting it out and making something for that part of the interior.
  8. How's your Vipers going so far guys? I've got the sub assemblies and basic bodywork done on mine so far, just need to strip the chrome pieces and start to paint it. Also been thinking of replacing the corrugated tubing between the filter box and throttle bodies with styrene tube before I paint all that stuff.
  9. I keep thinking of this when I see that van
  10. The R/T version of that would be pretty cool, and the starting point for a number of other variants of that platform too!
  11. True, although Rt 38 from West Chicago through Geneva is getting bad enough I think I need desert racer springs and sjhocks on my Jeep
  12. Kinda curious on the pricing of that car too, it does look kinda neat and it would make a good DD for somebody like me......now if it had a rally suspension on it, the highway I take to work is a little on the rough side right now
  13. You do know we're talking about the Bears and not the Cubs, right
  14. IIRC the roof was permanently attached to the car because of Kennedy's Assassination during the rebuild.
  15. I prefer the OFF button in cases like that
  16. I think I've seen the prototype in person more than a decade ago I'm keeping an eye on this thread!
  17. Well, I bought one at work tonight now too
  18. Not problem here, I refuse to open a facepage account
  19. Nice, it's going to be what the Nationwide Challenger should be, can't wait to see it finished!
  20. Hmm, My Traxxas E-Revo is the first in the country if not the world to get the Titan 775 electric motor from a Summit swapped in it and have helped several E-Revo and E-Maxx owners both in person and over the internet convert their trucks over to the 775 My Traxxas Stampede is likely one of the first to be converted over the driveshafts and differential outputs from a Jato back in 2005 and it's still using the same parts, although It's tore a few stub axles in two since putting the Traxxas Velineon Brushless system in the truck Put a Castle Creations 4600kV brushless motor and Sidewinder Speed Control in a Tamiya M-03 Mini Cooper and powered it with a Thunder Power 3250mAh, 11.1 volt lithium polymer battery......then went fast enough it blew up both belted rubber tires I put on the left front Managed to leg press over 1000lbs at the gym and have done it enough that it doesn't surprised regular gym goers any more....but does get some funny looks from those who haven't seen me do that before
  21. I've actually seen that car in person, too bad that museum closed up though. I think there might have been a black 4dr in there too.
  22. X2 Rob, great build BTW!
  23. If you think that's bad Danno, there's a bright red/matte grey first gen Grand Cherokee Larado running the gold spoked versions of those wheels........doesn't look quite as good as that Camaro does
