  1. I watched this the other night and was mighty impressed! I seriously hope this kid go all the way!
  2. Must have outgrown the doggie door, I'm guessing it's name is Clifford I don't really eat Dog's chicago style (techincally I was born in Iowa ), but I do love a good Portillo's Italian beef, and have one within a 5 min. drive from work
  3. Thought that whole thing seemed a little odd, have they kept looking at the girls Ex and McNair's business partners?
  4. Neat, kinda A100 like!
  5. It's a shame, rest in peace Walter!
  6. I'll be honest, even though it was in an older (maybe early 2008) issue of Street Rodder that I bought, I really didn't notice it until I saw that autocross video I posted and read up on it in the October 2009 issue of Mopar Action (which is currently onm the newsstands, look ofr the silver '72 Plymouth GTX and Mr. Norms/Sam Posey Edition '09 Challenger on the cover.) Believe it or not, those grill pieces were each milled from a 100lbs+ chunk of aluminum
  7. Might want to rethink that Ricky
  8. Neat, IIRC GM had been working on a Rotory until the first gas crunch hit and were going to be putting that in the Monza (and the Pacer was also going to get that motor too IIRC), so this could be the phantom type "swap that could have been" in this little car
  9. I checked some other reference material on this car, it's probably the reflection of the right front headlight extension of you're looking at the top right corner of the passengerside grill insert.
  10. Or readin' the same magazine IIRC, the guy left the handles because he really liked the way they looked
  11. Real, I'll post why it's real on friday or saturday I will say this though, that backdrop and lighting really throws off the look of that shade of orange that this Desoto is painted
  12. I've heard of that too, a customer who's family owns a towing service had to haul off a Wrangler that some young girl driving had done the same thing after checking the oil in it's engine!
  13. Haven't looked over the Goat's box, but the Daytona looks pretty bad on the box
  14. Good looking build GBK, I love the idea! Am I the only one who looks at that Pete Brock '46 and thinks of Greased Lighting
  15. That could have been the same gen Caprice, wouldn't be too tough to convert one of those though.
  16. Sounds like the oil change I did on my Jeep this last time, I kept looking and groping for the wrench by the tool box, which was to my right and infront of the truck by where I put the drain plug as I lay on my back under the front axle.......then found the friggin' thing to my left between me and the left front tire...........................
  17. I'm kind of afraid to check my area, some of our police will try and find a way to make you guilty even though you weren't in the state to commit the crime Now I have a question, do they pull up with the lights and sirens blairing?
  18. The hood straps did look a little off to me too, but the stuff I mentioned pushed me over the edge on calling it real.
  19. Sounds like you've seen his car in person
  20. I'm with all you guys, real! The louvers, hood straps, and the way the interior leather is bowing around the rivits/snaps just look too right to be a model.
  21. That may be necessary, I think he's been sniffing around a Cliffords catalog and is planning on "fixing" most of the rust issues too
  22. Must be like Drving a H2 or H3 then
  23. Seeing that he's got an inline instead of a SBC, , it would probably start with water in it....................................................and I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if he would try that either
  24. I'm digging the chop, but those fugly sidewindows and grill have to go
  25. Don't know why, but I'm getting a Mickey Thompson vibe from this one
