  1. I'm into RC's big time and have a small fleet of them, especially Rock Crawling (can be tough to do here in the Chicago burbs, not too many rocks......) and just got my newest comp rig in today!
  2. Found this the other day, somebody restified the Trans-Con Ambulance from the last real race and first movie! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wfWEy9P3K8...feature=related Christ, check this out, they've got a website up for the van and are planning on entering it in the One Lap race!
  3. So, is the motor still a Chevy LS motor?
  4. I'm going with real, tires and exhaust don't quite look right to me, plus there something odd about the passenger side vent window....................
  5. wow, that stuff would come in handy if anybody decides to replicat ethat Plymouth that was buried in Tulsa!
  6. IIRC that portion of the "body" is basicly a rollcage
  7. Wow, great work!!!
  8. Since you put up your bikes, guess I'll show the old one I just drug out of the garage, with my Losi Mini-Rock Crawler and bag
  9. Looks even better, kept thinking I was looking at a '70 CHallenger at times though
  10. Nice box art, hope the model looks just as good!
  11. When ever Dad or I drive one of the vans He and Mom have owned we do that All three vans and the Pontiac 6000 they've owned were column shift while all 5 Jeeps and the 2 Turbo Mopars we've had all have been console shifters. When the '88 G-20 was still alive both I nearly punched the doghouse a few times reaching for the shifter and almost hit the dash a couple times with the T&C when taking Mom to work lately too.....
  12. May have to ask DWC 43 when his computer is back from the dead, he'll probably know the answer to that when it comes to the real ones
  13. Haha, when my little sister bought her 3.5l/Touring suspension equiped Charger SE last fall, Dad when to the dealer's web site so I could see that car and the first thing that came to mind is that it looked like an un-marked police car. We don't have very many Chargers around me as cruisers, mainly CV's and Explorers. Here's my Sister's car for comparison That's what I think every time I see my sister's from the front, or get one like her's behind me in traffic. IIRC that snarely look wasn't by accident though, probably did it to make up for the excessive number of doors
  14. What ar you using for the paint Steve? I've got a couple cans of the Mopar spray touchup in that color (crystal black pearl coat or something like that) that I bought to paint a couple of my R/C bodies with and will have plenty left over and would like to paint this car and the Model King '59 Imperial in that color.
  15. Finally had a chance to open up mine and test fit it, very nice kit, although the part of teh chin spoiler that flimbs up the back of the front bumper is a bit out of wack and will need to be CA'd in place if I ever get around to painting it. Anybody else thing this would make a pretty neat little 2dr sport wagon if you cut the top and "daisy panel" off a second Challenger and added it to the back of it.
  16. Nah, he's got a GT, this is a Shelby
  17. For some odd reason, I want to say real
  18. My sister's boyfriend has been wanting to do some stuff to his, but since it's a V-6 he's not sure if he really want to do that or get a GT instead once he can afford the insurance.
  19. Don't say that too loud Harry, somebody might actually try it
  20. I bought it right after we closed at work and had other things to do that were work related first...then hit the gym (still sore after that ), eat dinner, and such
  21. Just bought the '09 R/T tonight, haven't even had the chance to open it though
  22. Hahaha, ever since HPI came out with their Countach body I've wanted to paint one up in all black for my 4-Tec, just not too sure where to look for the 5 hole rims and a 1/10 scale Adrian Barbeau....................... Saw that he passed the other day, it's a shame, I guess he was the one that made Burt Reynolds funny....... I'd love to get a ringtone of him saying Dun..Dun...DUNNNNN, Captain Chaos! some day
  23. That's a pretty good book, I read it a few years back too. That ambulance used in one of the last races and the movie has to be my favorite in the book too.
  24. Paid $500 for the house huh, how much of that did you make back on the scrap metal Congrats BTW!
