  1. Don't know why, but I'm getting a Mickey Thompson vibe from this one
  2. One of my co-workers has a real '76 Nova with the I-6........it's not in much better shape than that one, but it does run!
  3. Sorry to hear that he's passed, wonder how this will play out as the investigation moves on.
  4. Could be, but with all the weird stuff that has been floating around about him ifor all these years it's kinda hard to tell anymore....................
  5. Hehehe, I remember reading an article about Ford going to Kugel on this conversion, apperrently he had two questions for them; #1. Who Are you People? and #2. What's a Focus? Those little cars are absolute rockets with the 5.0's in them too!

    Custom VW

Neat, there was a 1/1 Bug like that in Custom Rodder (or was that Kustom Rodder) many years ago but it was a drop top from the factory instead of having to make it one like you did. I'll have to see if I can find the pics on line!
  7. Well...the ambulance would work, it wasn't only a hero truck but it also was run in the last real Cannonball!
  8. Check www.walthers.com , they're the major model railroad product distributers in the country!
  9. this looks like it'll be pretty cool!
  10. I'm going for model too, the louvers and rolling stock just don't look right to me.
  11. Made one heck of a psychopath too
  12. Um, I think the car Sinatra drove in C.R.2 was a Dodge Daytona Turbo (probably an draw through Turbo I car ), and Sammy and Dino were driving an early C4 Vette....IIRC Sinatra blew the doors off the Vette with that little G-Body too On the DVD of the first movie the Ferrari that Sammy and Dino used belonged to Hal Needham (as did the ambulance Burt and Dom drove.) On the first part of the movie when the Sheik arrived in his Rolls you can see Yates' white Challenger that he used in one of the real C.R.'s too!
  13. I forgot about him, the were saying on the news that Cronkite wasn't doing too good, flu or pneumonia I think.
  14. Maybe a blow to the head, I guess he was on a flight from Pennsylvania to Florida that had a blow out and a hard enough landing that the luggage in the overhead bins rained down on the passengers, himself included.
  15. In some ways, couldn't the moonshine cars really be considered the predecessors to these and rally cars, they had to alot of the same things, just sneakier I wouldn't mind doing a Cherokee up as a cross between one of the SCCA Comanche and SRT Grand Cherokee, but keeping the 4wd, solid axles, and I-6
  16. Is it going to be like one driven by Bo Duke in one of the later Dukes episodes?
  17. I talked to the guy who works for the Museum in Branson, MO that has that pristine one on display, it sounded like Ms. Belvedere was in pretty bad shape and would have taken a ton of work to put it back. I guess the guy who owns the museum is trying to get this one too. He also said that alot of people who have see the pristine car seem to think that it's the buried car and already fully restored
  18. Niiiiiiiice!
  19. Nice looking build!
  20. Found these the other day G-Machine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYlkyWOtArg Pro-Touring I seriously think a decently maintained, well driven Jeep Cherokee could show those Pro-Touring cars how to run that course
  21. Dad and I went to that show a couple years ago, looks like there were a few returning cars, here's one of my favorites from the that one What kind of engine does this one have?
  22. Real, just looks like a not yet thrashed dirt track car with too body parts that seem to thin for plastic or resin.
  23. Not a bad idea, maybe leave the b-pillar angle alone and lay the front window and back window down a little.
