  1. Not the nicest kit in the world I know, but I couldn't turn this one down for the price, complete and unstarted even with that weird fogged body.
  2. I always thought that version of the 32 Phaeton had the worst box top model I'd ever seen !, its just horrible lol, yet the kit is pretty nice really.
  3. We cant get many of the US car shows over here, but I do like Chasing Classic cars, as for our own shows Wheeler Dealers and Car SOS are very watchable, tried to watch Fast & Loud but I find Richard very hard to watch, Misfit garage was a little better but those last two shows are too "staged" for my liking. Online I really enjoy Jay Lenos garage, Muscle car of the week on V8TV, My classic car with Dennis Gage, Classic Restos (Australian) and if you've never checked it out have a look at My Car Story with Lou Costabile.
  4. I think this has to be you best yet Tulio, as you know I follow and comment on all your videos pretty much, this really is an absolute beauty !.
  5. These look great Snake, really like the colours on them so good on you for leaving them alone, Do you use flash when you take your photos ?, Id like to see the colours without flash. I nearly picked up a 68 the other day but missed out, and they are very rare to pick up over here.
  6. Very nice Jim, great colour choice and those Spyder wheels really suit the car.
  7. And me, Id love a mid 70s Camaro
  8. I do not normally get excited about modern cars or kits, but this one has me very interested, it looks fantastic.
  9. Looks very good for a first build, like many others my first build was awful, admittedly It was 31 years ago lol Id be more than happy with this one Martin.
  10. Great work, very nice looking Mustang
  11. Perfectly described Norm, I couldn't have explained it better myself. In the UK Friday is normally the traditional night to have a "chippy tea" as we call it, guess what Im having tomorrow ?.......
  12. That looks like the real deal to me Norm, in my eyes you can't beat a nice piece of battered cod and fresh cut chips, with mushy peas, or leave the peas and have it with a chip shop style curry sauce (which tastes like no curry sauce you can imagine). Personally I wouldn't have it with gravy that's a typically northern England style of fish n chips, they have gravy with everything !unlike us southerners.
  13. Great job as always Geoff, your models are always very cleanly built.
  14. Great to see you all enjoying the great music from over ere !. Even though I wasnt actually alive in the 60s my music tastes are all from that period of time. The Who (Of course) The Move The Pretty Things (very raw RnB, later Physcadelic) The Yardbirds The Hollies (One of my all time favourites) The Small Faces (awesome) The Action The Creation Spencer Davis Group The list goes on and on .............
  15. This thread has made me so hungry!. Im always envious of the takeaway food you guys can get in the US, its pretty poor over here just your usual McD's, Burger King and KFC and they are ok at best. But however the best UK takeaway food by far has to be fish & chips with plenty of salt and vinegar ....just beautiful, or if you are from my part of the UK a genuine Cornish pasty takes some beating.....but mother always makes the best ones !.
  16. Ive built a few of the newer re-issue round 2 kits with no issues whatsoever, I wash the parts in normal dishwashing soap, then I scuff the body with a very fine Scotch pad, I wipe the body over with panel wipe/degreaser before I spray the primer coat, I always use a plastic primer as it bites into the plastic better, but I only use regular car parts shop plastic primer, I dont bother with the expensive Tamiya primers even though they are very good. I have had issues with certain topcoat sprays slightly crazing the plastic but this is normally my own fault for laying down "to heavy" a coat.
  17. Now thats what you call a restoration, great job !
  18. Thanks guys, Ive got another 2 of these in the stash to build somepoint, its a great kit.
  19. I love to pick up old kits as and when I find them, which is very rare occurance over here, I do have 2 of those vintage kits in my stash that I will probably never build. 1st is a absolutely mint and untouched AMT 1962 Corvette annual kit, the condition of this one is like new, decal sheet looks crisp and clear, instruction sheet has not aged or yellowed, and amazingly all parts are still on the sprues. Its not the best kit in the world so for that reason Im not going to build it ...its much more satisfying to leave it as is. 2nd would be the AMT 1970.5 annual Camaro SS kit, the one with the orange drag version on the boxart, this one again is a time capsule and pretty difficult to get. I've had this kit for 14 years and I haven't touched it yet, and Im not likely too either. I do normally have it in my head that Im going to build every kit I purchase, and just becuase its old that doesn't mean I won't build it, the above two kits are an exception. My latest kit on the bench is a very rare FROG/AMT 1968 Corvette annual kit ......that ones getting built, even though the body is not very accurate.
  20. Love it!, that is so of its time it hurts lol. Great job Adam, always look forward to your latest builds
  21. Exceptional work as always, went over to the build link you gave too, great to see all the fine details, pity I can't undertsand a word of it !...Lol.
  22. Wow thats nice Tommy, colour suits it very well, and some very tidy foilwork too, great job.
  23. Great job Tommy, looks very cool.
  24. It would take me 3 months to get a model looking that good, very nice job Al.
