  1. I wasn't sure who was picking on who for what. Just clarifying . . . Time to smile . . .
  2. You are correct as to the nomenclature for the V8 version of the 1932 Ford . . . I committed a dastardly typographic error. It was, indeed the Model 18 and I knew that but typed wrong. My apologies. But the thread is "Model A" which does not include Model Bs or Model 18s, any more than the Mustangs are Model As by virtue of being in the "all Fords" 'set' or 'grouping.'
  3. Awesome, Brad, awesome!!!
  4. I've also had that kind of experience at 3:30 a.m. on a regular basis.
  5. That's a 1932Ford, Jon. It's a Model B (4 cylinder) or Model V8 (flathead V8), not a Model A.
  6. Fascinating process! Thanks for taking us along.
  7. Looking forward to it . . . and setting my DVR in case I get busy and forget to watch!

    Excellent.
  9. I was wondering about that the other day. I hope it makes it to market before the government takes away the last of my income. I don't know if we'll be able to buy them with snap cards.
  10. Very good job, Jim! Nice styling and excellent execution.
  11. Nice. It has the right colors to be a honey wagon!
  12. Mike has it right: Pretty much the only planned activity (at least at the present time) for the rest of the year is the IPMS Modelzona show/contest/flea market ~ 1st Saturday of November and the GoodGuys Southwest Nationals Model Car and Pedal Car Show/Contest ~ 3rd weekend of November. There will probably be another Saturday Plastic Flea Market, late September or October, but I haven't heard the date yet.
  13. Very few police cars were Impalas. They were usually Del Rays, Biscaynes, and later, Caprices. The Impala moniker wasn't widely used for police car packages until the 2000+ platform, because the Impala was the upscale, more luxurious Chevy model. Police cars were usually cheaper models.
  14. Excellent model, Randy. It's really too bad about the panel gaps, they really detract from the appearance of your work. Could you perhaps flow a little body color into the gaps with a fine point brush to soften the harshness?
  15. I heard the Neptune man fled to Burt Reynolds' home town in FL . . . Jupiter.
  16. Outstanding!!

    Not bad at all, Oscar.
  18. Outstanding, Jim. I agree with Harry, except . . . that unpainted floorpan just ruins your undercarriage.
  19. Very nice! I always thought the '61 had the nicest-looking taillights Ford ever put on a production car.
  20. Very nice on top!
