  1. Yikes! Walked right into that one. I'll have to check.
  2. Very, verrrry nice!
  3. As far as I'm concerned, you can't beat Purple Power or Super Clean for stripping paint and/or chrome from plastic parts. There are other methods, but the purple pond works fastest and safest, and it's the least toxic. Plus, once it's past its prime, it's biodegradeable so it is safe to pour it down a household drain. Works for me!
  4. Thanks, Jeff. It did much better than I ever expected! It drew a 'Peoples Choice ~ Best Paint' award. I didn't see that one coming!
  5. Nice!
  6. Now that's a big 'So What?' (The kit, not your build.)
  7. Nice!
  8. Ahhh. Your avatar is back. Don't look now, but your thing is glowing.
  9. Actually, this is so overhyped, I'm getting bored with it all. Yawn.

Nice job, Jack. Unfortunately, the brighter color highlights the kit's oversized door hinges, but the gold really makes the body's lines pop.
  11. OMG! I love the pointy-wedgy contours of the body!! It's absolutely amazing how you've maintained the Chevelle identity but streamlined and beefed up the shape. Terrific job; great techniques. It's just wicked kewl!
  12. Derrick, WoW!! Love the chassis plate/frame jig ... what a great concept! I'll be stealing those ideas, for certain! Thanks for showing us how it's really done! Watching ...
  13. Hey, Hizoot! Posting your Black Force reminded me that the BF was a Slammer series kit. I had forgotten that; thanks for jogging the old grey matter. So, here's mine ... I think it's the only AMT Slammer I've built ... Duplicolor Pewter Metallic with Krylon Mystique Blue/Purple color shifting flames (applied by rattle can).
  14. I'll throw myself under the bus ... Show me "in" with a '62 Studebaker Lark.
  15. Actually, that's pretty neat, Jack. You captured the look of a nicely done homemade sportsy car, I think!
  16. Quite nice!!
  17. Beautiful, Steve!!
  18. Wow, Chris!! Awesome build going ... don't know how I missed it before, but glad I found it. You just have to keep it going, man. You've got it all dialled in so far. I'm already anxious to see this one finished up. Richard, any time you can get a line on coming up ... we'd love to see you at one of the clubs. Check out Moonlightmodelers.com and stay in touch!!
  19. That's neat!! Welcome aboard.
  20. Thanks for the word, Matt. I was afraid I had forgotten to pay 100% of my internet bill.
  21. Be careful you don't let yourself get burned ...
