  1. 'Bout time you got off that Pocher MercyBenzine and got on the right track!! Or, 'It's a stoker not a Pocher!' Nice!
  2. Verrrry nice!!
  3. Amazon.com is calling ...
  4. Don't forget ~~ Gregg's Hawaii Travelogue Book became an instant overnight best-seller after only one feature in MCM last year!
  5. No, no, no. "Exclusive BBQ" referred to those rare, endangered species of meats you grilled. The ones we were sworn to secrecy about. Very, very cool. Besides, Security didn't let everybody in ... only the "A" List ... and me.
  6. Oh, I know that. I was referring to his hanging out with the Kahuna and us earlier (at the convention center) ... That was what started all this in the first place: the Big Kahuna's comments in Issue 156 referred to convention antics. You & Pete & I were at both ... convention center and the exclusive BBQ at Keck Mansion. Us old guys need score cards! LOL. Yes, it was that!
  7. Probably. Are you going to join us for Desert Scale Classic on Saturday the 16th? (You asked me to remind you.)
  8. That avatar is creepy ... and I'm fearless. Although it does look remarkably like an old boss I once had ...
  9. Okay, okay. So I left out the "and!" Sheeeeeesh! I fixed it. Now I've gotta find some shade and get in out of the sun.
  10. I didn't remember you being there, Mark, but we talked about you so much it was like you were there. Besides, who am I to argue with Gregg's meds? Ironically, I'm guessing the Kahuna was thinking about Dave Morton. He was there and hung out with us some.
  11. Here is the box art for each of the two versions of Revell's Caprice: The first issue was the police car kit, molded in white. It came with a funky toylike blinking light bar in addition to a more accurate replica light bar: The kit was later reissued without the toy lightbar, in the same boxart but absent the reference to the flashing lightbar. The second issue was the taxi/fire chief car combination kit, molded in yellow. It came with all the same parts as the police car, but also had a taxi "hat" light, clipboard, and taxi and fire dept. stickers. Both should be readily available via emodelcars.com or that other auction place.
  12. Excellent!
  13. WoW! Excellent! Just an outstanding job! Congratulations on achieving such a superb build!
  14. It was a great day! I actually got a mention on the same page as you, Mark D., AND the Keckster! Wow. (I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy. ) But, hey, after reading MCM, why bother with the others? And, congrats again on your 'Best.' Your Porsche really knocked 'em dead. PS: It was great making your acquaintance at IPMS Nats this year. C'mon back to Phoenix any old time. Best,
  15. Love it! Very bold. Smokey Yunick would have had one.
  16. Most excellent!
  17. Yep. There's also this version (which was the original & re-issue a couple of times).
  18. Very nice, Bob.
  19. UPDATE: It's been confirmed! Model Cars Magazine will be in the house for professional event coverage! Arizona's biggest model car contest ~ DESERT SCALE CLASSIC ~ PHOENIX. Be THERE!

    Looks good from here!
  21. Congrats, Terry! Glad to hear the good news. Now, take it easy and follow doc's orders so you don't end up with a return engagement. Best,
