  1. Unfreakingbelievable, Randy! WOW! Double WOW! It just keeps getting better and better and better! Hand-cut fan blades! Working shift linkage! Sheeeesh! 1/25th scale? A-mazing!
  2. Tamiya paint has been apprx. $6.49 per can here in the Phoenix metro area for about a year, now. No recent increase, but I suppose it's only a matter of time ...
  3. Only 3 weeks and a day away!! Don't fail to be THERE! Gil, we're looking forward to seeing you and your buds!
  4. Ahhhh, lived too close to the fermentation vessels, didja?
  5. Yikes! Publication of that caster's identity along with the picture ~~ no commentary required ~~ would be a public service.
  6. Sweet!
  7. Sweet, Jim! Well, maybe 'sweet' isn't the best choice of terms for RatFink. How about, 'Gnarly, Dude!?' Howard, where've you been?
  8. Very, very nice, Chris!!
  9. ASM. Automatic Selective Memory. I can't remember anything else, but I can remember my cars (big or little). Thank God for that!
  10. No, I don't, Joe. I found the image via Google Images by inputting "hillclimb cars." It has to do with offroad racing in Iceland for gawd's sake! I didn't know they did racing in Iceland. Around here, "Iceland" refers to a federal center where a bunch of guys who hike, track, and hunt for a living work, keep their amazing off-road vehicles and R/C airplane equipment, and let lots of temporary residents chill.
  11. Why, oh why, do they (Lindberg) insist on calling that Model T a '29? No such animal. Last T was built in 1927. Sheeeesh!!
  12. Good luck, T. I'm confident it will go well and your only lasting thought will be ... 'why didn't I have this done sooner?' Best!
  13. Nice car.
  14. That's just criminal, there!
  15. OMG! Now, THAT's bad resin!!
  16. LOL. So true!! I've made resin purchases and received products so bad that I wished they'd just stolen my money instead of forcing me to look at their garbage and making me realize I actually paid them for it. And I beg to differ on one point: They're not all gone from the marketplace yet.
  17. I noticed that, too. Glad you pointed it out, Mark. We want no sophmoric errors on this masterpiece!
  18. It was NOT my fault!!! My life-long addiction to slrig rendered me unable to control my droabyek! Besides, I saw one here ylitnacs dalc and I've had no self-control since! And, the secrecy of my job prevents me from knowing what I'm doing! Plus, I came from a nekorb emoh, too!
  19. You overlooked a common complaint: Grammar/punctuation/spelling. Of course, your post had four spelling errors and 19 grammar/punctuation errors, so I suppose it is in full karma balance. (Just kidding, you know. Having some good-natured fun with the topic. Please don't take this as a complaint, or take offense, or consider it any form of bashing. It's not. Your post was merely a vehicle for humor delivery.)
  20. It's ... option 3 ... surreal!
  21. Amen, Brother Mark!!! Well said. And, another thought to add, if I may: It seems to me the degree or intensity of the reaction is often driven by any combination of A, B, and/or C ... the more of them involved, the more irrational and vitriolic the reaction. My 2cents.

    The Cosma Ray

Beautiful, David! What a stunning car and your build does it justice! Ten thumbs up! * Yes, I have just GOT to get my CR project re-started. *
  23. That sounds great! Can't wait to see the artwork.
