  1. Very cool.
  2. Beautiful! Kudos for correcting the grossly inaccurate front fender panel lines. Everyone ignores that, and it's such a easy fix. Improves the look 100%.
  3. Lol. Thanks...I think ?
  4. Another loss for the hobby. Prayers for his family.
  5. Lol, no worries. I'm taking that same train lol.
  6. Anyone have a list of HD kits?
  7. Very cool.
  8. Now that's cool! Excellent work. How much is wood?
  9. While not all parts may be used, they're nice to have. They can come in handy on a kit that doesn't have much detail, like that radio face.
  10. The window linkage parts could be for a planned but not yet released aftermarket set, or one that was planned but canceled. Feel free to send me what you don't want ?
  11. Thanks. But it's Lee not Dan lol.
  12. I was actually thinking of the old amt kit. Does the snapper 63 have a bucket interior or one built from the floorpan?
  13. Attics get CONSIDERABLY hotter than the rest of the house in the summer. Kitchens don't get nearly as hot unless you put them in the oven.
  14. I do this as well. Swmbo (she who must be obeyed) lets me have a couple shelves in the entertainment center, and a couple in the curio as well. I rotate my models occasionally.
  15. Then it wouldn't be accurate. There were changes from 63 to 67.
  16. Thanks. Speedway decals is considering offering that upholstery sheet. Let them know you like it.
  17. It's not really that much work to remove the clear film. If you take the time to sand mold seams, etc, it's less time consuming and easier than that. To me it's the difference between building a toy and making a miniature replica of something. Details like that make a big difference. Of course some don't care and just want to slap together something and call it model building. Each to their own, but I care about a job well done and want my work to look accurate and something I can be proud of.
  18. Exactly. I usually get no more than 1-3 a year finished. Some I have displayed in different places, some I store in empty kit boxes.
  19. That's cool. That's also one of the reasons I hate trying to teach people finishing and balk at it. Most just will not listen. There's a rhyme and reason to why I do what I do the way I do it and if you do what I show you you will be successful is what I tell them. But no...... it goes in one ear and out the other. I don't have time or patience for that. Learn to do things the way I show you and then if you have ideas we can look at it.
  20. Yes. Contact him, as he has not completed putting up stuff.
