The major thing that has to be done is to seperate the engine bay (wheelwells and firewall) from the interior floor that will allow you to use the MPC interior...

It's not mine, it belongs to a member of the local club I'm in. He's got like 10 of those ultra rare 65 chevelle kits. And he does some pretty weird stuff so I wouldn't put it past him... lol! I'm not even exaggerating either This guy has more than 6,000 kits in his bacement... it looks like a warehouse full of models! here is proof of the Chevelles!

I'm quite embarrassed to say that I haven't been able to get any model car work accomplished for awhile. Yesterday was the club meet and the first time in a month since l touched a model. I gotta get back on the horse. lol! No excuses but I currently have my house listed for sale and with all the small repair projects and cleaning up, just been too busy with goings on around here... Here is what I dug out and will try to get back on before the month's end... with any luck, thanks guys... Also letting my fellow club menbers down isn't the norm for me but they are still busy building and that inspires me...

Dang! I thought I was bad... Oh wait I am just as bad...?... I vote on the Olds Rallye 350 also... That's a nice Phantom build ya got going... MOF, all those stalled builds will be nice when finished...

This Guy built a Prostreet car using part of the Max Rat chassis. It was in a collection I got that was built in the early 90's, shelved, and it appears to have collected dust for 20 years. I forgot that It was a build up. I thought it was a stalled project... I immediately disassembled it and cleaned everything up. I'm excited to see yours come to life... I've had a few of these over the years, the Red Malibu was the other issue... I hear Revell is going to Re-issue the kit soon, so I look forward to seeing it molded in white for the first time... Hmmm?... now I might have to paint this one white...?

That sounds cool! I have one that was started in the 80's... It came to me in a collection. I already undid all his work but I been wanting to get it out and do my thing to it. I'll wait to see what you do to yours...

Soak it in hot water to soften up the styrene... That may get the pillers back in shape? It's a neat kit, wagons are cool no matter what brand.☺

I spent some time sorting out and picking my next Stalled projects for the BOYD Round 3 challenge. I have 7 or 8 choices to get back to work on. I know I have a problem but seriously, I am getting help for it. ?

I've finished another over 25 years Dead build... The 55 Chevy is finished in the style it was started in around the early 90's. Because it was missing a hood, my original plan was to build a Gasser. Due to popular vote I choose to go with the ProStreet look. Thanks to the loyalty of the members on here I was able to get a hood (thanks David). I kept it simple because of time constraints But it was still a challange because of life and my complicated brain... hope I did the 55 Chevy proud, Thanks for you guy's support... Now It's time to get Round 3 started!I Before... and After.

I'm in on round 3 with my 55 Ford and 69 Chevelle maybe others as well. I made some progress today... Final assembly! I have to relocate the radiator support and find my headlight lenses then it's done! Our club challenge next month is "BOYD" so this thread has inspired guys who are in my local club too... (Not members here). after seeing my stalled builds get done it has got them wanting to get theirs done too! Gitter Done!

Making last minute progress on the 55. I had to show the interior, I'm kinda happy with the outcome. I used a console from a 60 Impala. I couldn't find the shifter so I used welding wire from my mig welder, the shift ball is actually weld flux! Anyway I'm counting down with you guys, Finished pics to come soon.

I had a fairly productive day today. This was the first time in about 10 days that I actually worked on anything, my family's been sick all week, just now gettin over it. I have a list of things to do before final assembly, Polish, BMF, Fab exhaust, Build complete interior, Finish Revell chassis, We'll see if I can finish by the weekend. I'm gonna be out of town next week a few days so it will be a challange to get it done by the deadline. I'll get back to it as soon as I can.

Looks good in tan... I applied the Coral today without having any expectations...I knew whatever it was, It was gonna be. But I really like the colors flipped around. The directions even show the Shadow/Coral combo... I'm rolling now on a ProStreet chassis I can be proud of... more to come.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words... I really didn't think that top was gonna turn out. I have since robbed the wheels and tires from it and replaced them with some torque thrusts... Here she is at home in the case. I borrowed the tires for the 57 ford Ridge Runners patrol car. I'll be using the chrome steelies for some future project.

I'm more or less experimenting here and I probably won't like the result although I love the real car painted like this... I always thought GM got it wrong though. I think the colors should've been swapped, (coral top and gray bottom). I've never seen a real one with the two colors reversed. So that's why I decided to do it now... the colors I'm using are darker than the 55 colors but you'll get the point when it's done.

That is a great finished look. Matter of Fact while I'm at it... If we were voting for the best dead build This one would have my vote! All the builds on here have me wanting to dig out my 50 or so Stalled builds and get them done. And Snake? you win for the "Best Idea for a Thread" award!

Progress on the 55... 1/2 of the paint job is complete... I'll be adding another color to the top... My inspiration comes from a friend I had who owned a 55 with a simular gray as the color I picked.
