Warren I think he is talking about a western type “Stinger” that extends pass the tandems for longer log loads mainly used in the western states -

This Engine is identical to the one I had in my real Autocar. Not shown in this pic but my fuel filter was mounted under the pump on the left side of the engine. And you will have to move the dip stick to the right side of the engine that’s where the little red block is this one has no dip stick it’s plugged for some reason -

Need a turbo and move some filters and water lines around and oil cooler the left side of the engine basically stays the same as the 250 with the intake I had one in my “real” Autocar it’s easy -

Very sharp -
Here’s one I finished this summer. The frame in the kit was a “Rubber Block” suspension So I used a Monogram Ford aeromax frame with air suspension instead. I also added other parts from 1/32 New Ray Trucks Enjoy the pics

1976 Autocar A64B dedicated to JR
Pete68 replied to Pete68's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Just thought I would give a update on the tribute. I sold my 1.1 Autocar A64b the first week of November. I was in a bad car accident In September that didn’t help my Arthritis I’ve been fighting for years and it seems the accident has made it worse. Saying that I had to realize I can no longer crawl around the old truck and give her the attention she needs. The truck was starting to go down hill fast so instead of letting her rust and rod to death I decided to sell her. She went to a good home and the gentleman who bought her is going to restore her back to the original color and stripe I showed him on the line sheet I gave him. I plan on finishing this build this year and build one from the original line sheet.I had her 19yrs Here’s some pics of our hay days and our last day together.
