These are the kinda JoHan kits I can afford: This one had mile-thick paint on it. It stayed in the brake fluid bath for two weeks!

The photos I have on PB are also on another hosting site. I don't plan on using PB in the near future.

I've been working on blending the yellow and white stuff together. Shot some Plastikote primer on it: Still some filling and sanding to do. The angles between the roof and deck lid are a bit different. Gotta work out the transition between the two.

Very well done! I did a similar project with a '62 Impala, but not a 'Cab Forward' design. It was a fun build. This one looks like it might have been fun to do.

They kinda lost me when front-drive Lumina and Taurus and Intrepids hit the track with rear-drive set-ups. I've never seen any of those in the showrooms!! I hafta wonder if the latest crop of "superstar" drivers could handle the same cars King Richard, David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Cale, and even ol' DW drove back in the sixties. You know...actual "stock" cars!

Borrowed from the WWW: The kit is a 1973 issue. It shows opening doors, but the body clearly has the doors molded in. That shouldn't be hard to overcome, in order to open the doors.
