  1. Okay thanks.
  2. This is going to be good. The fender flares are super. How did you make the flares?
  3. And, check out the great article on the history of scale garage accessories and a tremendous guide to the available items. I remember the engine stands and Jack's etc from my teenage building in the 60's.
  4. Holy Cow. I was 17 when my parents got their first brand new 1968 Toro. The whole family loved it and I was allowed to drive it with permission. Haven't found a model of the 1968. I'll be watching your 1966 build. Super!
  5. Loving the great big headlights and how they draw you in to the look of the front of the car!
  6. My gosh. That's really good ? Thanks.
  7. Love the 421 powered 65 2+2. I built it years ago in the color Mayfair Maize light yellow but forgot to do the chrome trim like you completed. I better dig it out and get busy. Thanks for showing your machine.
  8. Would be so very good if the scale model body had been produced with the 421 emblems on the fenders depicting the popular and powerful 421 engine option!
  9. The all important 409 emblem is perfect on this! I bought this and the 1964 Impala 409 back when they first came out. Sure wish the model companies would produce the 63 Pontiac with the 421 fender emblems.
  10. Thanks for this WIP. Fantastic so far! Remembering the first time I saw a picture of a 33 Willy's and thought it was the ugliest car on the planet. No more! Nothing like them. Seriously funky. I built the Stones Wood and Big John Gasser's when I was a kid in the early 60's but had know idea this car existed. Will follow this.
  11. First post.HUGE 60's full size Pontiac fan.Have built the 65 2+2 and have the 61 and 62 Catalina's in the wait.If you want to depict them as having the fantastic 421 engines, don't forget to get the photo etch 421 fender emblems for your 63 and 64 cars! The only place that I know for these is Model Car Garage in Florida.Beware of their BIG mistake. They did not realize that the driver's and passenger side emblems differ.End result is you get 2 of only one side of the car.I will have to display mine on one side only on my shelf!
