Okay, thank you!

Where may ask, did you get the very large headlights on each of the 2 red cars?
-
All 3 are tops!

Super clean and photos to match. It looks like it could launch hard at the strip.

Monogram "The Dragster" Original 1961 Issue

Looking good. Ordered mine last week and hoping it arrives soon. Opening the scoop as you did is the only modification I plan to do. Thanks for this! -
Thanks Scudetto. I seem to recall that magazine subscription and the models now. Good quality and the scale size I prefer.

Not familiar with the Centenary Collection but really nice! What scale? Have a friend that owns the real 1:1 thing and have driven it. Beautiful.
-
Good looking kit and project. Super that the air cleaners can be removed to show the carbs. What is the length of the model? Thanks
-
Thanks for the link. If the MFH and other resin/obscure could at least provide windows like all other kits more people would buy.

1/25 AMT 1965 Pontiac Bonneville Sport Coupe

Looking like a real 1:1 Bonneville. The wheels are perfect. 8 lug wheels are complex. Used to see these in the neighborhood when I was growing up.- 90 replies

My gosh! Big fan of anything ABARTH from that period. Have owned 2 Fiats and 5 Alfa Romeo cars in 1:1. Going to follow your build. Good looking car and killer wheels. Not familiar with the kit or the paint you are using. Thanks for posting.
-
Super that the all important 406 fender emblems are there and the good looking oval air cleaner is perfect. Classic.
-
Home Run. Looking very real. Reminds me of seeing them on the street. When I get around to building mine I may try several paint combinations. Thanks for posting.

Love this drag machine. Color, stance and everything is home run. Shouldn't have to fight poor fitment but you did and a winner! Thanks for posting.
-
Okay, thanks for letting me know the fuel overflow.

One of my favorites from when NASCAR was fun for me to watch! Beautiful car. What is the small square piece in the far left tail light on the drivers side?
-
Bingo! I'm a many decades long Pontiac fan and all of your research is spot on. All of your details are great and correct. Good looking model. I need to start mine. Thanks for posting this.

Issue 212
rrb124@sbcglobal.net replied to Dave Ambrose's topic in Model Cars Magazine News and Discussions
Yes! HPI Guy channel is very good. Very in depth, fast building and model contents review. All of this in a short, compact format. He helps you navigate through the problems. -
Cool as heck. I have had this kit for a long time and have not started it yet. Agree on the changes you plan to make. Making it your own!
-
Very nice. I have not started mine yet and trying to decide on the color. A silver-grey range of colors is one of my favorites. It looks good on yours. I'm also trying to decide on the color of the wheels. Thanks for this.

Killer color combos. Super tire decals. This gives me ideas on waking my 911 kits up. -
Nice B! Not often seen color. You nailed it. Great trim. There's a lot of it on a B.
