  1. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present for your viewing pleasure: My photos from Today's (4-21-12) NNL East event from Wayne NJ. ENJOY!!! http://public.fotki.com/El-Tanque/model-shows/nnl-east-26-2012/
  2. And Mexicans...according to the news. So once I cross the Cali border, then everything on the planet will cause cancer? Man what do you guys have in the water out there? One favor though...before you drop into the pacific, could you send all the cool cars this way? Thanks!!
  3. Fantastic. I love the jacket laid over the door. Very cool, nice detail work.
  4. I would think you could use the Chassis from the re-issue of the Jungle Jim Monza. I know I've seen photos of the Army Arrow chassis, but I cant for the life of me remember if they are similar.
  5. Finally, the 90's: Toyota stops Nissan's dominance. Ferrari and BMW reemerge. Oldsmobile wins, and the arrival of the soon to be all conquering Audi! I hope you've enjoyed these little films. I hope the links worked correctly. http://americanlemans.com/alms-tv/episode/sebring-through-decades-1990s?channelId&channelListId&mediaId=0006a327890540fb8a55570a84c1d7c3
  6. The 80's arrive. THe early 80's saw the all conquering 962 arive. For the first time ever a GT car wins the overall victory, and the emergence of Nissan stops the Porsche winning streak. http://americanlemans.com/alms-tv/episode/sebring-through-decades-1980s
  7. The 70's were a time of struggle for Sebring. The energy crisis and the FIA almost put a stop to everything. It also saw the rise of Porsche dominance. http://americanlemans.com/alms-tv/episode/sebring-through-decades-1970s
  8. Ok, here goes round 2. The 60's: Ford and Shelby enter the fight. Check out the torrential rain storm duing the 65 running. WOW. Man, I love this stuff. http://americanlemans.com/alms-tv/episode/sebring-through-decades-1960s
  9. Welcome Race Fans! To those of you who follow road racing, you already know that next weekend is the 60th running of the 12 hours of Sebring. The once around the clock classic run on the rough, tough, runways of an old WWII B-17 bomber base. Well here's a little taste about some of the history. Check out these short films from ALMS.com http://americanlemans.com/alms-tv/episode/sebring-through-decades-1950s More to follow. ENJOY!! There are some wonderful shots of some of the wolrds most famous race cars and drivers.
  10. Wow! Well I dont mean to stoke any fires, but to me, they are all beautiful. Did anybody else catch the March Meet last weekend on BangShift.com? They had a live broadcast all day on both Sat and Sun. I LOVED IT!!! I have to say that while I love the Top Fuel and Funny Car Classes, (got to watch Doug "Cookie" Cook's grandson make his license runs in the "new" Stone, Woods, and Cook Dark Horse 2 F/C) the Gas classes were the most competitive. Although it took me awhile to get used to the index system. A/G = 7.60, B/G = 8.60, C/G = 9.60, D/G = 10.60. With a heads up start, these were some of the closest races all weekend. Oh, Nostalgia Eliminator was cool to. (Run what you brung as long as it was center steer) I cant wait for next year.
  11. Hey Doc, From what I know, you will (may) have some interference issues between the headers and the upper A-arms. At least the first release from Acc Min did. Harold Bradford @ Historic Racing Miniatures makes the correct parts to fix that issue. He also has a transkit to do the roadster version. If you want some reference material, I have some photos of Gran Sport chassis #002 on my Fotki page. Here's a quick pic and the link. The original 377cid all aluminum small block. The car currently has a 427 in it. Here's the link to more pics. http://public.fotki.com/El-Tanque/simeone-foundation-/legends-of-motorsport/legends-of-motorspo/
  12. OK quick question. SO for in this post I have seen the "High and Mighty" car a few times. I always thought that car was an altered and NOT a gasser. Am I incorrect? Which was it? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?
  13. OK, here is the last of the photos that I could find. These were again taken @ E-Town this time in'10. This next car is reported to be the 55 from American Graffiti and 2 lane black top
  14. Head's up! I found some more photos. These are from the '07 Nostalgia Summer Nats. again @ E-Town I hope you enjoy them. This next shot is of a 41willys P'up, but for some reason I did not get a shot of the entire car. All I have is detail photos. Here is the link to the rest of the album http://public.fotki.com/El-Tanque/racing/drag-racing/e-town-nostalgia-su-1/ I think I still have one more source.
  15. >Pete, No problem, it was a great time. Where bouts in Central NJ are you? >Cruz: We understand. There was snow to be shoveled and lawns to be cut. or something like that. We can see where your priorties lie. LOL! So I guess I'll see you at NNL East then.
  16. Ok, here are the last of them from '06 OK, that's all for now. I'll post some more when I can find the albums.
  17. Here are some more from The Summer Nostalgia Nats @ E-Town in '06 More to follow.
  18. Wow! What great photos. There's a lot of inspiration here. So, I thought I'd through my 2 cents in. HERE WE GO! The Boss Hydro. Decals were available for this from Slixx. Big Time Memories 41 Willys. Decals for this are on the same sheet as above from Slixx. (If they're still available...sad news about that) I'll look for a better shot of this one. E-Town, summer of 06
  19. Great build. Looks much better that the Polar Lts kit. Excellent job.
  20. Love em all. TGUK is one of my favorite shows. It is also the only car show that my wife will watch with me. The US version cant hold a candle to the original. Someone told me yesterday that TGUK is one of themost watched TV shows in the world.
  21. That is freakin awesome. The paint is flawless. It looks so deep. Amazing build!
  22. Sweet! I love the body rake, and the shifter is over the top. Come-on, spill the details.
  23. Nice job Dave. I love the added and corrected details. This one is on my to do list...eventually.
  24. I found a couple more. Injected Hemi in the Boot Hill Express. A little hard to see, but it's in there. LS-5 454 in a 70 SS Chevelle L-78(?) 396 in a 69 SS Chevelle A blown flathead in a 32 Highboy roadster (The Widow) another view The completed caddy from a previous post installed in a 40 Ford coupe (whiskey runner) lightly weathered. and a Acura NSX V-6
  25. Wouldn't miss it. The hotel is booked, and I will be putting in for the vaca time this week. I have something for the Show rod theme, but not too much for showroom stock. I hear that table will be in the parking lot anyway. LOL! Looking forward to seeing a lot of people again!
