  1. Thanks, unfortunately I didn't take any progress pictures of the rack.i just googled pictures of racks and bent some brass rod into a shape I liked and went from there. The ladder sides are made from solder, it was easier to get the bends I needed.
  2. Thanks, it's Rustoleum light turquoise.
  3. I built this by combining the body and interior from the '66 Suburban kit and the chassis and drive train from the '84 GMC kit. They required some modifications to fit together, but went together pretty easily. I scratch built the ladder and roof rack. I'll continue to add stuff to the roof rack as I come across things that I think will look good.
  4. Thanks. Here's a picture of the kit when I first got it.
  5. Thanks, I got it from Page Resin.
  6. Nice, I have a '73 wagon I need to build.
  7. This is a resin kit of a '71 Impala Sport Coupe. The kit didn't come with windows or a steering wheel so I made the windows and I thought a chain steering wheel would fit the look of a '70s lowrider. The wheels are from a '70 Impala kit, the tires are from a Revell lowrider. The kit came with a chassis, but I had an extra one from a '76 Caprice that was easier to work with, so I used that. I painted the bumpers gloss black then used Molotow chrome. The paint is a '14 Mustang color.
  8. This is what I used. It's like Molotow chrome in that you can't touch it for a while or it will dull.
  9. I got a little bit done on Tony P's Cadillac. I took a yellow sharpie to some of the chrome to make it look gold. I also used a blue sharpie in the headlight bucket to simulate the HID headlights, and an orange sharpie for the turn signals. I used a molotow chrome pen on the rear axle, driveshaft and engine bay brace. More next time.
  10. Can I still get in on this? If so I'd like to enter Tony P's Cadillac from Mystery Men. I'll be using Revell's Custom Cadillac Lowrider.
  11. That reminds me a lot of the die cast t bucket from Testors.
  12. Thanks, the curtains are printed fabric.
  13. Thanks, it was strait from the can.
  14. This is a slush cast resin Airstream trailer. It came with the windows molded in and it's hollow inside but I wanted more depth so I cut the windows out and made clear windows out of plastic and hung curtains behind them. I used some resin wheels and scratch built a bagged tounge. The paint is Krylon foil metallic silver over a gloss black base. Enjoy. I'm going to set it up behind my Suburban when it's done.
  15. I love Cadillacs, and yours looks great.
  16. Nice year Bill.
  17. This year I tried to dig out as many old stalled projects as I could and get them finished. Some started as long ago as 12 years and some that only needed paint and final assembly. Here they are in order of completion. '46 Chevy Fleetmaster '65 Lincoln Continental Cadillac STT-V 3rd generation Escalade Greased Lighting Supernatural Impala Knight Rider 2000 '57 Chevy '32 Ford woody "Stingray" Stingray '65 Impala SS '70 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. '75 Chevy Caprice '86 Monte Carlo LS '93 Chevy Caprice '96 Impala SS '91 Chevy Caprice pro street. And here are a couple I'm hoping to finish next year.
  18. Nice year.
  19. Nice year, I like 'em all!
  20. This started as the Road Block Cop Car. I wanted more of a pro street car so I filled in the holes for the light bar and parachute. I added flame decals from my parts box and a carbon fiber decal to the wing. The decals had a reaction to the clear coat so I wet sanded them and re cleared, but they had the same reaction, so I decided to just live with it. I now have one of every year bubble generation full size Chevy.
  21. Nice! I love me some Cadillacs.
  22. That came out fantastic, good job.
  23. Nice score, and nice build!
  24. Very impressive work so far. Can't say that I'd be brave enough to cut up such an expensive model.
