  1. Looks great, I like the color combo.
  2. Thanks for all the comments. The paint is Duplicolor, it's a factory Honda color. If someone were to render some '95/'96 mirrors and make them available for 3d printing, I'd get a couple sets, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
  3. I converted the Revell '94 Impala SS into a '96 by filling in the holes for the mirrors, filling in the cup holders in the center console and adding a console shifter, and adding an analog gauge cluster. I further customized it by cutting down the rear bumper into a rollpan, using the front bumper from the Alternomad kit, and using wheels and tires from my parts box. I'll add some side mirrors when I find some that look right for the '96.
  4. These guys have one. I haven't seen one in person so I can't say how accurate it is. https://jandjresin.wixsite.com/website/product-page/61-chevy-2-door-coupe
  5. Thanks Bill, it's always nice to get your input on my tv/movie cars.
  6. Thanks for the comment. All tri-9 Impala SS came factory with a spoiler and is a easy/popular upgrade for the Caprice. Since I started with the Impala body, it was easier to leave the spoiler than to try to fill in the gaps in the truck lid. It's not upside down, I promise.
  7. I made this '93 Caprice by combining parts from the '92 Caprice kit and the '94 Impala SS kit. I modified the Impala body by shaving the door trim and emblems and opening the quarter windows, I also scribed the panel line between the body and the rear bumper. I cut the inner fenders from the interior so I could use the Caprice engine bay with the Impala interior tub. It has the Impala seats and console with the Caprice door panels and dash. The engine and chassis are from the Caprice kit. I color matched some wheels from my parts box. The paint is GM medium blue metallic.
  8. Thanks. Unfortunately I don't remember who I got it from. Jevries makes a higher quality conversion, but he only releases a few at a time, and they're gone fast.
  9. I started this one a few years ago and recently decided that I should pull it back out and finish it. I modified the kit by cutting the top off and lowering the suspension. I used resin bumpers to convert it to an LS. I made the boot, the license plate and the headlight lenses. I used eBay wheels with Pegasus tires. The paint is Duplicolor Cayman metallic.
  10. I'm looking forward to watching the progress on this one.
  11. That looks awesome! Got any pictures of the suspension? I'm working on a similar project.
  12. That came out great, nice job!
  13. Thanks. I found the nose on eBay a few years ago. I'm looking forward to seeing your 73 when it's done.

    75 Caprice

I used a resin nose to turn this MPC '76 Caprice into a '75. I thought it would be fun to build it as a high rider with some wheels and tires from a Revell custom Cadillac. The paint is Kia alien green.
  15. I started this one a couple years ago and finally finished it. It's a resin kit from Page Resin. I painted it Duplicolor Royal Blue, used some wheels and tires from my parts box and plates a friend made me. The bumpers were chromed with a molotow chrome pen.
  16. That came out fantastic! I also have a love for Cadillacs and have bought a few from Pedro, in fact I just finished one and I'll be posting it soon.
  17. I saw a chopped '32 woody high boy in the background on a TV show and I thought it looked awesome, so I decided to make something similar from the Revell Speedwagon. I cut pieces out of the rear fenders to fill in the wheel wells and added prostreet wheels and tires, everything else came in the kit.
  18. Thanks Bill. Honestly, I just guessed, the movie was real slick about not showing where they were in the car.
  19. Thanks for the comments. During the movie he mentions that it has the original paint.
  20. This is a replica of the '57 Chevy that Michael Knight installs KITT into in the TV movie "Knight Rider 2000". I built this using the newer AMT tooling mostly out of the box. I added a scanner to the grill, a bar code license plate and KITT's voice modulator and other items to the interior.
  21. That looks great, I like the colors.
  22. No, I thought about it. I do have a couple of shot guns I might stick in the back seat though.
  23. I recently finished this replica of the '67 Impala from Supernatural. I used an AMT '67 Impala and a resin transkit.
  24. That came out really well, good job.
