  1. Nice! I always admire those who can pull a 24hr build. For the life of me I can't even do a prepainted slammer in 24hrs.
  2. Beautiful 300!
  3. WOW! The extra details raise it to another level. My favorite is the correct size exhaust! Love it!
  4. Nice pair! There is a 1:1 just like those ones near my office.
  5. Great looking model! These cars fly with their powerful V8!
  6. That is absolutely GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing on behalf of your friend.
  7. The engine looks great! Interesting concept.
  8. Looks good to me!
  9. Nice! Ready for a salt flat run.
  10. Nice! Lesson learned: Stick to Chevys.
  11. UPDATE: Got my order today! Thanks,
  12. Just called and talked to him. He said it will ship today and will provide a tracking number as soon as it ships. Thanks for the heads up!
  13. Sad to find this thread. I placed an order about 3 weeks ago. Sent an inquiry about a week ago and no response so far.
  14. Been Tamiya, this should be a fun build. Blue is always a good choice.
  15. Interesting...
  16. Looking good!
  17. Cool! It seems sectioning is needed. Only 2 months? That's a challenge.
  18. Nice save!
  19. Hello, Exhaust: No need to explain where this is going... Thanks,
  20. Hello, I am out on business travel to Houston. This was the last update I posted last weekend in the race car modeling forum before leaving.Upper and lower A arms and carbon brakes done on the driver's side. Instructions are not clear nor accurate on the brakes. The roll cage part on top of the engine is loose. It will be fixed in place after the air intake is installed. Thanks,
  21. Good progress. Those wheels look great. You can lightly sand the tread on the tires to knock down a bit the shine. Nice color choice. Make sure the paint is as smooth as possible before applying the clear. The clear will augment any roughness in the paint. One suggestion is to lightly sand the next to last coat before applying the last color coat. Same with the primer. Make sure it is smooth before applying the color coats. Thanks,
  22. Impressive! Now we know why there is a worldwide shortage of brass...
  23. Guilty as charged! I behaved myself for years, but this year I've bought 4 already, and we are only in January... I sold 2 last year and I plan to sell a few more. I don't know how many I have but probably over 100.
  24. Hello Simon, First of all, thanks for you comment. I really appreciate it. That looks menacing! Love it in black! I can see it terrorizing the neighborhood at night. Great job on it. Actually, these cars look black when unpainted. One of my "someday" projects is to do either the Daytona or the Sebring test car. They look flat black due to been unpainted CF. Thanks!
