    Ferrari F430

Wow! That looks amazingly good! Love it!
  3. That looks GREAT! The color really pops on this outstanding build.
  4. Turned out great! Color combo works very well!
  5. Very nice! One of my dream cars when I was a teenager. Had a lot of fun in my cousin's RX7.
  6. That right there was my uncle's car! Great job!
  7. Nice! The GTI grille really makes it pop!

    It's a Duesy!

Classic beauty! I always thought about a blind intersection. By the time the driver can take a look if there is oncoming traffic, half the car is already blocking the road
  9. I never thought an Isetta could be turned into a really cool ride! The wheels really make it for me! But so is the exhaust! Even the "removable trunk" is cool Great job ob this one.
  10. Beautiful! The supercar of my youth! Great job!
  11. Nice story and nice 308. The 308 is one of my all time favorites.
  12. Very cool build of this historical car. Great job!
  13. Nice!
  14. One of my all time favorite cars! Will follow with interest.
  15. Looking good! IMHO this livery looks better than the original tricolor like the one I'm doing (2016 Le Mans). The Castrol livery is also nice.
  16. Looking good. Interesting approach to apply the nose emblem before the clear.
  17. Thanks Jason! That is probably my favorite part of this build so far. Thanks,
  18. Looking great! I've been thinking about picking this one up. Will follow up closely. Agree the boxart is gorgeous on these kits.
  19. Hello, Rescribed panel lines, removed mold lines. First coat of primer revealed still many issues. The body has plenty of stubborn mold lines and the surface is quite wavy, especially on the nose. I have spent quite some time addressing these. Far more work than what the pictures suggest. By the way, for this particular race (2016 Le Mans), the port in the left front fender was covered. Thanks,
  20. Hello, I'm pretty sure the Tamiya is an excellent kit and superior to the Revell snap. Nothing to dislike about it. What I mean is that at this moment it is not a kit I have the urge to get. Buying any kit is a hassle for me as everything has to be mail ordered and shipping is getting expensive. But I did pickup a Revell snap in one of my business travels to Texas. Thanks,
  21. Nice! What color do you plan?
  22. Interesting color choice. Looking good. I like the car but not enough to get the Tamiya kit. Maybe I'll try the Revell snapper.
  23. Looking great! One the most beautiful Ferraris ever made and one of my favorites. Years ago, when there were no kits of this car, I started modifyng a diecast body. When I was almost done with the body, Fujimi released this kit. It is still buried in a box somewhere. Maybe I'll finish it some day. Thanks,
  24. Hello, Because of the subject I have a detailed thread active on the race car models forum. So I haven't updated this one in a while. Here is a summary of the latest updates: Looking at this car, something is bothering me. Something doesn't look right. And that is the tail lights. They are too big, too round and too low. So I'm looking at possible ways to fix it. This snap Corvette had already donated the decklid for a full detailed C6 convertible a long time ago. So I cut the rear bumper. The idea is to trim close to the taillights and somehow graft it into the GT2 body. Most likely they will be separated as 2 pieces: left and right. Measured a million times to ensure proper location. Now I need to fill the surgery scars with putty so I can smooth and blend everything together... Thanks,
  25. Hello, Because of the subject I have an active detailed thread on this project on the race cars model forum. I see I haven't updated here in a long time. I'm out of town on business travel so no bench time. Here are some updates: Feb. 3 Wheels and tires are done. Added valve stems (wire). They don't write tire location (FL,FR,RL,RR) in the tire. They use a small sticker in the wheels in the valve stem area. Feb 5 Rolling chassis! Almost a shame to cover with a body. Love how the exhaust turned out. Noticed the tires need to be properly seated in the wheels. No big deal. Thanks,
