  1. That's VERY nice! Great job!
  2. Hello, Keeping with the box stock theme........ The car is now legal for certification. You see, this type of race cars don't have a VIN #, but they must have a manufacturing plate with a serial number and manufacturing date. It is all David's fault! ? You can't see it but as per the 1:1 the home made plate says: Corvette Racing Pratt & Miller Engineering and Fabrication Chassis # C6R-003 Manufacturing date: 9-28-2005 Here is the reference from David Palmeter's site: Thanks,
  3. I have loved the Isdera Imperator 108i since I was a teenager and saw it in a Road and Track article around 1987. My car buddies usually had no idea what I was talking about and I bragged about knowing more than them about cars I'll be following this project.
  4. Thanks David! If you see him say hi from me, the stalker with a camera from 2006-2007 Atlanta
  5. Looking good! Great attention to detail!
  6. Looking really good. Getting tempted to get this kit.
  7. Hello, Interior pretty much done. Still pending a tweak on the shifter and the top of the roll cage. Very hard to photograph even outside of the body. Once in the body it will be impossible. Added the little screen on top of the roll bar (rear view camera display?). Steering wheel hanging from the roll bar. Here is a short video and some pics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnpvhGoGf6c Fellows C6R interior www.youtube.com Fellows C6R interior Thanks,

  9. Nice! Interesting color scheme!
  10. Hello, Driver's right side safety net with sponsors decals and drinking water hose. In the 1:1 the hose connects to the driver's helmet. Thanks,
  11. Hello, Put your hands together and sing the "Box stock interior song" with me! Thanks,
  12. Hello, OK: Repeat with me: BOX STOCK INTERIOR! BOX STOCK INTERIOR! removed the molded cooler and machined my own... machined my own shifter as per 1:1 but retained the plastic boot. and somehow an electronics box with wires appeared. Repeat with me: BOX STOCK INTERIOR! BOX STOCK INTERIOR! Thanks,
  13. Nice job! As others have said, the headliner really stands out.
  14. That's a great looking Z! Those were popular around here back in the day.
  15. Nice! Love the color.
  16. Very nice!
  17. Nice job on the rebuild. Like Bruce said, those were really ahead of their time.
  18. Hello, First full coat of primer. Panel lines addressed all around. Still some tweaking needed, but this sucker is getting closer to color! Thanks,
  19. Hello, Box stock interior. Yeah it's a lie. An old picture, a piece of a popsicle, bits of wire and some paint... and you have a Motorola radio for communications and telemetry as per the 1:1. Of course it will not be seen. Thanks,
  20. Hello, Some little progress on this project. Filling up the molded turn signals. The model is based on the first prototype which had the turn signal lights in the front, but the rest of the cars including the one I'm replicating, had them on the sides. Now you see them, Now you don't. Thanks,
  21. I'm trying to calculate monthly payments if I put $1,000 down, but the calculator keeps showing a blinking "E".
  22. Wow! Just took a curious peek and ended up watching it completely. Really enjoyed it! They were having a great time with lots of fun. Reminded me of a field day at school. At 4:15 and 5:40 you can see where the Escalades with big rims come from. Thanks for sharing!

    My models

All are excellent builds! That T3 stretch is very interesting. The other VW bus is also really cool!
