  1. Sporting "normal" hair
  2. It's been forever, and I've lost track of old pictures...... but here is what I did with the roof. Arizona Car Wash I don't wish to detail why I don't have pictures, two big reasons, but one was that I was ticked off at Flickr, which resulted in them Memory Holing my whole collection of 12,000+ pictures. I should take new photos, since camera phones are so good.
  3. My Honda is at the dealer for the third time because of Pack Rats! Second time they had to drop the gas tank, I was smelling gas (petrol) more than my '68 Chevy. This time I'm using the car insurance, so it's getting billed for $3,500! No I don't have a garage, and have been thinking about it. Oh wait, this isn't the What Irked You Today thread. ? I got an old-fashioned wood base Rat trap, and a new all plastic what looks like the Jaws Of Death trap. Both nailed one last night! So I'm very pleased. I can post pictures if anyone wants to see. ?
  4. I built that kit, but converted to the showcar convertible and put in a diorama. It's a nice kit, for a curbside. Did well and the important thing, you finished it!
  5. I saw my first in-the-flesh Stratos, but this is a kit out of England, shipped over as parts then assembled. So of course I like this subject! Nice details you added.
  6. This is one of those HOLY COW builds. ? I've not been active building or lurking on the forum, so I need to spend some time checking this one out!
  7. That came out very nice! I lusted over those when they were new, recently got the kit, so I appreciate all the photos for inspiration. ? Any trouble with the old decals?
  8. No lie about that! ? And Apple with their iCloud, can't delete pictures to reduce volume, I spent 3 days when I was ill, total waste of time. Thanks for the insight. Wherever money is to be made by having the people over a barrel, would not be surprised if that is still happening.
  9. Everyone knows Waste Management is practically a monopoly now. They bought out a local trash service, didn't know until all of us got a bill from them. I just spent a few hours trying to not get started, to cancel service, and it's impossible...... website shows ZERO option to cancel, got on the infinite hold phone line for 36 minutes and gave up. So I just drove the can down to their office, and did it the old-fashioned way in person. Another local company said it's been nuts since this happened, they already serve my street, so I should be set.
  10. There are at least 3 of those "unibody" Ford pickups in my town, one owner I knew from years ago. Technically not "on the road" but next to it, in Prescott. My town has become a haven for the wealthy retired demographic, I think the owner of a fairly new antique store moved from CA, and brought along his collection. The prices are steep, but nowadays try restoring anything for that amount. I love COEs, so that is what I took most pictures of. I dig this '40 Ford.
  11. with interesting skills
  12. The 190 Evo2 has always been my favorite sedan from the 80s. This got a Ford twin turbo stuffed in. I love the stealth factory look.
  13. from Nurse Ratchet
  14. inject massive dose
  15. Kegs of hotsauce
  16. Vehicle to another time, some vintage kits can be that portal.
  17. I did a RallyCross in Camp Verde on Saturday, Blue Cloud did really well for a 56 year old pickup with a new heartbeat. They have not posted the results for Sat. and Sunday, but I think middle of the pack is expected. My daughter attended and shot some video, and got to ride along for a few rounds. I freeze-framed video, to create this for my mechanic, I will print and stick on foamcore. He finished wiring the Hella back-up light, and charged only $20. Hope to do a night event, I think that will be kinda cool.
  18. Someone with money to burn, keeping the economy going is a good thing. My first issue of Road & Track was the introduction of the 928, on the cover of course. I was bummed, and I never wanted to get a kit of it either. G00gle's AI: Porsche built just over 61,000 928s worldwide. Porsche stopped making the 928 after the 1995 model year due to poor sales and the fact that it didn't share components with other models. Chevy built over 220,000 of my '68 Chevy C-10s, the value of perfect restorations is ridiculous. The 928 just isn't a cult vehicle, so don't be upset.
