  1. Other than the chick being naked and snorting coke, you captured the "van craze" very well.
  2. Yes. Tires from the same Monogram kit with the white walls painted .
  3. More pics here: http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model-clu...eeting-1172009/
  4. Resin sedan delivery from Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Md. channelled over the frame. Treadplate step built, just to be different. Small block Chevy with scratchbuilt headers. Wheels from an ancient Monogram "Early Iron" kit. Detailed a Maisto 25th scale Harley to go with the truck. Lloyd is ready to roll.
  5. Ya young whippersnapper.
  6. The Model Car Garage has all the photoetched rivet heads you could want.
  7. Okay ! Okay ! My real name is Lloyd Woddington. Hope you're all happy now.
  8. Welcome back Jeff. Hope you're doing well. Very nice model. Sometimes, keeping it simple allows you to relax and enjoy the fun of modelling.
  9. I used the IFS from the AMT '34 Ford kit and the 9 inch Ford rearend from any of the Revell '32 Ford kits.
  10. '69 COPO Camaros (Coprorate Office Production Order) were base Camaros with factory-installed 427's. The Revell '69 Yenko Camaro kit builds a COPO simply by NOT applying any of the Yenko decals. bsoder added steel wheels and caps but it would still be an accurate COPO with the kit supplied Chevy rally wheels.
  11. Finally got mine yesterday (Jan 9). Great issue. Bill - GREAT article on opening doors - THANKS. You may want to sue Gregg for calling your in-progress Ford a '56.
  12. Very nice work so far. The ribbed bumpers you're looking for can be found in the later reissues of the AMT '40 Ford Sedan Delivery, the Revell '49 Merc,or unplated resin from Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Md.
  13. It's David Bowie's birthday. Supposedly, he's still alive.
  14. Thankyou. I found that if I tell people I'm 74, they say I look damned good for my age.
  15. Thank you, ya young whippersnapper.
  16. Uh,,,,now I'm confused. Should I go there again this coming Saturday?
  17. Many of us USED to frequent another board. The "post your builds from this year" began there several years ago. I think it's neat to look back at everyone's modelling accomplishments over the past 12 months. As long as people are posting ONE picture of each model built in the past year, I don't consider it "clutter". This IS, afterall, a model car board and we are posting pictures of model cars. I like the idea, but that's just my opinion. I guess we'll let the board owners decide next year if we should do it or not.
  18. We said goodby to the old year, honored a couple of old guys, looked at old models and had a great time, as always. Lots more pics here: http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model-clu...meeting-132009/
  19. Beautiful work. We should see a modeller's profile of your work in a magazine. (Gregg, ya reading this?)
  20. You just may be the king of muscle car models. They are all fantastic.
  21. Absolutely beautiful. Looks like Bill Stillwagon and Ted had a build-off going on. They are both winners.
  22. Looks perfectly normal to me. Why would you want to clean it?
  23. There is no Rolls there, unless you are seeing more pictures than on my screen. Drag cars often have different wheels on the front and back. There's no way in hell you can see the wiper BLADES from the angle and distance of the photo of the Charger. Last, and certainly not least, I don't appreciate your damning comment about America as part of your signature. I have no idea what country you are from or what holocost you are referring too, but it is not the job of America to save every country on the planet. If you don't like America, stay off THIS AMERICAN MESSAGE BOARD, and while you're at it - KISS MY ASS.
  24. All MAMA meetings are on the third Saturday of the month EXCEPT APRIL. APRIL MEETING IS THE FOURTH SATURDAY. We had to do this because of the permanent schedule change for NNL EAST.
  25. Neat projects. I know you're going to turn these into killer models. But why are you calling the '34 Cabriolet a phantom. Ford made those from the factory.
