I'm using PLA. The cure time is almost immediate. The resolution isn't as nice as the resin printers but it's good enough for my needs -for now

Besides the hood scoops, I've been tinkering around with some other things. I found a drawing with dimensions for a 32 Ford frame and drew it up and printed it to scale. Then started in in some bomber type seats with seperate cushions. Next I came up with some air filters of different thicknesses and the topper which happened to print out at half a millimeter. Lastly some disc brakes and calipers. I'm having a ball!

As mentioned earlier, this was a bunch of parts in a bag. At the time it looked mostly there but after getting her home, I found I was gonna need some things One of the things is the vents that sit in the hood cavities. Well, thanks to my new toy, I was able to squirt out a couple. after a bit of trimming, I was able to get them in place. I can live with that

Hahaha, sorry man, not enough hours in the day for all my interests.

I picked this up a few years ago at a show. It was a bag of parts. After looking closely, I found I am missing a few parts. I started on 9 Dec 23. the hope was to get this stance. The wheels and tires are 3D printed from Ebay. after fiddling with the suspension I think I got it pretty close to the desired look. I sprayed the rims and tires with my black airbrush mix then hand painted the silver accents with alclad and the emblems with red acrylic. I dont hate it next came the interior by liberating the door cards, spraying everything black and applying flocking to the carpet area. last but certainly not least, I assembled the engine and applied plug wires. Things have been slow going because my wife gifted me a 3D printer for Christmas. Ever since, I've been testing my limits with it and learning what i can and cannot do. Cant say when I'll get back on this one.

Love those wheels! Did you print them or buy them? Would you share your source?
