  1. I am interested in 1/32 engines, but mainly for '30's era autos.
  2. I read about just recently, either on the forum, or in a magazine, about a new similar substance for masking. It seems like it was "KA" or "NA". It was highly praised. Anybody heard of this stuff? Thanks
  3. I would greatly appreciate any comments and opinions and experiences you might have with PYRO kits? Are they in any way accurate? Approx. how many parts do these kits have? I'm looking at the classic-era models. Thanks.
  4. Thanks for all the great info. Actually, I got a new body, hood, and hood scoop from Revell - isn't that great!! So this thread can be closed - I don't know how to do it. Thanks
  5. I think that on "Jay Leno's Garage", he restored one of these and kept the fuel injection - and it's nice to have a dynometer!
  6. Whenever I buy 2-part polyester putty, it always goes 'bad' before I can use it. I am looking for the smallest amount of this stuff I can buy. I think I saw an ad for such a small package by 'Bondo'. Any suggestions? Thanks
  7. I think 'vcgresins.com' has fuel pumps for $1.25.
  8. I have heard about a primer sealer brand name, "Plasticote T-235". Is this safe for styrene? And also I would like a white primer-sealer; this Plasticote is gray. Any advice?
  9. Thanks everybody. This thread can now be closed.
  10. Thanks everybody; this thread can now be ended.
  11. I've ruined my '68 Hemi Dart body with too-hot primer. Can I use the '69 Dart body in its place?
  12. Close this thread. (thank you)
  13. Thanks Casey. A picture is worth a 1,000 words. And thanks Jantrix: I did not know it was 1/24. And I too will be using the Blue Flame Six from the Revell '53 Corvette.
  14. I am considering the Monogram kit: '39 Chevy coupe street rod. I wonder if it comes with the 'stock' chassis and suspension? Thanks.
  15. I have the MPC '70 Dodge SuperBee kit. I am watching an AMT '70 Dodge SuperBee for sale. I am primarily interested in the chassis and rear suspension. These 2 kits do have different seats, but everything else seems to be the same. I am thinking I should buy it; what do you think? Thanks for reading this. fiatboy.
  16. Thanks for the advice, comments, and photo.
  17. The '71 T-bird sounds interesting; they had some pretty 'outstanding styling'. Always wanted to build a limo!?
  18. I have 2 Monogram NASCAR kits, both with Chevy engines. The valve covers have a 'cover' over the spark-plug areas and ignition wireing. Should the detailing include the wires and boots? Thanks.
  19. I've ordered once, relatively quick delivery, lots of interesting parts like 'turbo charged DOHC 4-cyl. engine. They are good IMO.
  20. I like the design of a 2 piece wheel so the center can be painted separately. I am interested in wheels/tires that would be authentic for "sports car racers". Also, tall, narrow tires for salt-flat racers.
  21. The aftermarket company in Maryland, "Replicas and Miniatures" has Weber carbs. Part no. P-11A. I guess they can be used as either downdraft or sidedraft. They were $8.00.
