  1. I see that no one has mentioned "Duplicolor"; I seem to remember a number of builders using this. I was wandering around Hobby Lobby and I saw other brands, too, that some modelers use.
  2. Has anybody seen in any of the model-car magazines, sets of 4 chrome Cragar wheels? I think the price for a set of 4 was $12.00. Thanks.
  3. Thanks much, you guys. and Ace, you mentioned the Revell '72 Olds 442 kit that has an "up-top. I assume the AMT kit is 1/25; do you happen to know what the scale is for this Revell kit? Thanks again.
  4. Anybody ever build the Brigg's '70 Chevell LS6 convertible racecar driven by Ray Allen? If I am not mistaken there is a kit of a '70 Chevelle convertible. If so, there are probably a number of you guys who have. Any comments? Thanks
  5. Anybody familiar with Dandy Dick Landy's Dodge Super Stock cars? They are 3-tone, silver, red, and a blue color. I've heard both metallic blue and teal blue. Anybody? Thanks
  6. I am building an Avanti, salt-flat-racer style. What color should the engine be? Thanks
  7. Pretty cool, you guys; I never would have thunk it. Thanks again. Yeah, maybe I can add some detailing to these engines. I have seen other people do this (improve engines or scratch build them).
  8. Are you guys talking about 1/32 scale? Please confirm, blunc and crazy ed!
  9. Yes, the Pyros. '30 Aston Martin; '30 M.B. SSK; '30 Blower Bentley. Does Lindberg still offer these 1/32 models? Is there any difference b/t these 2 name brands? Thanks
  10. I am interested in 1/32 engines, but mainly for '30's era autos.
  11. I read about just recently, either on the forum, or in a magazine, about a new similar substance for masking. It seems like it was "KA" or "NA". It was highly praised. Anybody heard of this stuff? Thanks
  12. I would greatly appreciate any comments and opinions and experiences you might have with PYRO kits? Are they in any way accurate? Approx. how many parts do these kits have? I'm looking at the classic-era models. Thanks.
  13. Thanks for all the great info. Actually, I got a new body, hood, and hood scoop from Revell - isn't that great!! So this thread can be closed - I don't know how to do it. Thanks
  14. I think that on "Jay Leno's Garage", he restored one of these and kept the fuel injection - and it's nice to have a dynometer!
  15. Whenever I buy 2-part polyester putty, it always goes 'bad' before I can use it. I am looking for the smallest amount of this stuff I can buy. I think I saw an ad for such a small package by 'Bondo'. Any suggestions? Thanks
  16. I think 'vcgresins.com' has fuel pumps for $1.25.
  17. I have heard about a primer sealer brand name, "Plasticote T-235". Is this safe for styrene? And also I would like a white primer-sealer; this Plasticote is gray. Any advice?
  18. Thanks everybody. This thread can now be closed.
  19. Thanks everybody; this thread can now be ended.
  20. I've ruined my '68 Hemi Dart body with too-hot primer. Can I use the '69 Dart body in its place?
  21. Close this thread. (thank you)
