I built the Monogram 300SLR, and it looks like it has finer tubing than this great new kit. ( For what it is worth.)

I wonder how the Monogram 300SLR tube chassis compares with this new one?

Yeah, hi Draggon; I was asking about these fender - flares. Are they mostly for small diam. wheels, like 13" or 14" ? Could they be used on a Trans-Am type race car?

Hi Erik. Yes I too am interested in your RR Merlin. I happen to have this engine from Alan Raab at "Ma's Resin". At one time, on his online catalog, he also offered a Packard V12 Merlin, but I was unable to get that one. I could take some photos of it, but it is still in the wrapping. Both of these resin engines looked quite different from each other, I thought.

I think I will be going the water cooled way. I will add water-ports (4). I have narrowed a '67 427 Impala body by about 4 cm. I may alter the roofline, but other wise keep the profile stock. I realize I owe 'yall some photos.

Good to hear from you, 'sweden'! I plan on building a salt-racer. I have purchased an aftermarket engine from Gibson Engines, the "Sonny's Supermax". Maybe I could convert to liquid-cooling by constructing 4 waterjacket takeoffs as in some Pontiac engines. The 4 cooling ports could be: 2 off the front of the heads, and 2 somewhere off the block. Does this sound plausible at all? Somewhere I got the idea that the Donovan engines used liquid cooling. Any comments perhaps? Go ahead, let me have it! Don't hold nothing back!

A "TF-style" engine would look like a TF engine (supercharger, blower hat, etc.) but would be liquid cooled. So that an engine like this would have a "life" of, say, 4 hours, so it could be used on the salt. I've seen cars on the street with blowers and a fuel-injection scoop (hat). I assume such cars are liquid cooled with a radiator.

Beautiful photo, prostreet. I wonder if the dual fuel pumps could be relocated to reduce the overall length of the engine?

Is there a term for that stick-like thing coming out of the front of a T. F. engine? I guess it involves the oil and fuel pumps.

I am having trouble with the interior assembly. The kit comes with 2 interiors but with only 1 set of side interior panels. These 2 panels fit the one 'interior' but not the 'race interior'. Who can enlighten me? 'Preciate it.
