  1. Yup! Great news. Saw Robert Glucksman's post in one of the Facebook groups this morning for the '69 Chevelle. It certainly looks like another must have. Maybe not so much the F&F car for me but definitely the Chevelle. I'm falling way behind on these Revell releases as I still haven't gotten the '68 Chevelle or '69 Boss 302. Not to mention I want at least 3 each of the '86 Monte Carlo and '70 Firebird, a Grand National, an AAR Cuda or two, a '78 El Camino, and a '29 Model A Roadster, and that's just the new releases. Looks like I need to try to hit the lottery, LOL!
  2. Not bad at all, especially for minimal monetary and time investments. It's amazing what the right kind of attention can do to improve some things.
  3. Nice one! I love the Copper color and the interior color works very well with it. Nice wheel choice too.
  4. Nice! I saw hpiguys vid too and between that and this I might just have to pick one of these up.
  5. Great color combo and nice job on the interior!
  6. Nice! Labonte ran some of the coolest schemes in the late 90's to early 2000's.
  7. Nice! Seems like these cars would do well if kitted/re-issued.
  8. Very sharp! Always liked the white and gold Hurst/Olds schemes!
  9. Great job so far! I'm going to tackle this one this summer, though I am going a different direction with it. Going to use a different chassis and engine and possibly even interior, but I'm sure I'll need to tackle the bumper/valance and spoiler issues, and you're fixes on those will be invaluable so thank you very much for sharing!
  10. Fantastic work on the interior and vinyl top! That color looks great on the body also!
  11. Very cool looking truck! Nice job on the weathering.
  12. Outstanding! Great paint and love the color!
  13. That thing is flippin' awesome! From front to back and top to bottom. That paint job, just WOW!!
  14. Thanks guys, much appreciated!
  15. Finally finished the Monogram 1966 Shelby GT350. This one fought me pretty good, the closer I got to finishing it, the more it fought me. I was also fighting some motivational issues, I even put it away to work on my GSX that I posted a few weeks ago. The color is Tamiya TS-51 Racing Blue over Testors One Coat Diamond Dust, and the interior is done in an Apple Barrel craft paint mixture of Gloss and Flat Black. I added ignition wires and used BMF for the window trim. I also used a spare pair of bigger tires for the rear because I felt that the kit tires looked too skinny back there. The next four builds I have planned are going to be NASCAR cars, and I hope to have those done by May so I can get going on some street cars again. Thanks for looking!
  16. Nice work!
  17. That is one bad looking motor!
  18. Looks sharp! I like the color combo.
  19. Nice smooth, clean build. Almost looks like a real car photoshoot.
  20. Looks good! Nice job on the wheels. That shaker gave me problems as well, especially since I had plug wires coming out of the distributor. I really had to cut, grind and trim it to get the hood to set right on it.
  21. Looks sharp. That kit is definitely on my growing to get list.
  22. Looks good in that color! Nice weathering job on the engine and chassis!
  23. Very nice! Love the color!
  24. Awesome tribute! Very well done!
  25. Thanks guys, I appreciate it!
