  1. Nice smooth, clean build. Almost looks like a real car photoshoot.
  2. Looks good! Nice job on the wheels. That shaker gave me problems as well, especially since I had plug wires coming out of the distributor. I really had to cut, grind and trim it to get the hood to set right on it.
  3. Looks sharp. That kit is definitely on my growing to get list.
  4. Looks good in that color! Nice weathering job on the engine and chassis!
  5. Very nice! Love the color!
  6. Awesome tribute! Very well done!
  7. Thanks guys, I appreciate it!
  8. Thanks! I'll have to look into the PE as I plan on a couple more of these in the future.
  9. Definitely an original idea, and well crafted!
  10. Nice! Great job on the dash and interior!

  15. Thanks Chris. Thanks Tom. Thanks Bruce.
  16. Thanks John! A friend of mine has a 1:1 that he did in the Camaro Synergy Green. He's owned and restored several Skylark/GS/GSX in several colors for himself and others.
  17. Thanks Jim! Thanks David! Thanks Craig! Thanks Jeffery! Thanks Robert! Thanks Gene!
  18. Thank you Steven and Roger! I agree, it definitely just looks right.

  20. Finished my first build of 2020. Monogram 1970 Buick GSX 1/24 scale. Color is Tamiya TS-42 Light Gunmetal cleared with Tamiya TS-13 clear. Interior is Rustoleum 2X Satin Canyon Black and the woodgrain is done with Apple Barrel Nutmeg Brown over Khaki craft paint. The engine and transmission were done in craft paint also, as was the exhaust. I added spark plug wires/boots and Fireball Modelworks Radial T/A decals for the tires and printed my own license plate. I also raised the rear 1/4" (6 inches in 1:1) because it sits too low as kitted. I built one of these some 30+ years ago and did it in the factory yellow, so this time I wanted to do it a little different. I'm glad I did because I think it looks really good with the red and black stripe package. Thanks for looking!
  21. I'm not normally drawn to this type of race car, but this one looks too good to pass up.
  22. This one is gorgeous! You never cease to amaze with your spotless builds!
  23. Awesome gaggle of Vettes!! The cut-aways are outstanding!
  24. Beautiful job on a beautiful paint scheme!
  25. I can see the El Camino being a hot commodity, I'll certainly pick one up and maybe a '29 Roadster. The Rubicon and Luv don't interest me, but it seems like a lot of others are interested in them, so those I'm sure will sell very well. Hopefully there's more than just that handful, but I still haven't gotten any '68 Chevelles, '69 Boss 302's, '70 Cudas, '70 Firebirds, Grand Nationals, or Monte Carlo's yet so I already have a ton of catching up to do.
