  1. I'm sure it will turn out just fine. I've seen a few of them where the builder said it was easier painting the stripes on than applying the decals.
  2. This one is the Snap Together version that came pre-painted with the stripes already on, so I can't take credit for any of the body paint work. I did do a lot of detail painting and added the BMF on the window trim and door panels. The kit itself has both the Snap version and the full on glue version, but I only build the Snap version so far. In hindsight, I should have bought the version with the figures since this one does not include them, but my mind just couldn't get past getting the 2 kit version for the same price. Here's a pic of the box, I bought it at Hobbylinc.com.
  3. Thanks! That was a great kit, and it is indeed Tamiya Pearl Green. It's a great color!
  4. Thanks guys!
  5. Started the year with a few quick and easy builds. Got some Movie/T.V. themed cars done before sliding back into my usual build types. Thanks for looking!
  6. Excellent idea, and well done!
  7. Love the Trans Am, quite possibly my all-time favorite Muscle Car. Nice, clean job on the Foose Truck, too!
  8. Nice work! Love the Minions in the last pic! I need to find some of those guys!

  23. Looks good! Nice job on the detail painting.
  24. Model Master lacquer goes just fine over Rustoleum 2X primer. I primed a bunch of bodies in August with the Rustoleum 2X Flat White, Light Gray, and Flat Black primers and painted over them with Testors One Coat(Extreme) lacquers, Model Master lacquer and Tamiya in September with no problem. The problem you run into with the Rustoleum line is with their clears as they are chemically hot. Their primers and paints are fine, although the paints are a little thick. Also, here's a spoon test using Testors Green Metal Flake Enamel over various base coats...
